Casaka seems to be providing options for lot of new cars. Your unit seems to be a 2 DIN straight fit. Does it integrate with the steering mounted controls?

Congrats on you new car. Nice colour. Nice to the point review.

Do check if it is possible for any stuff like bottles kept below the front drivers seat to slip ahead towards the pedals. If so plus do not keep stuff there.

You possibly even now get your leather seat covers stitched to the seat at an accessories shop so that this it does not move out of place.

Good price for the old tyres

But, Primacy LC in Mumbai is being quoted @ Rs 5600

^ My Scala arrives this week , looking for the similar upgrade.

Re: My Renault Scala - Metallic Blue - RXz Dci

Congrats on your new car. I have booked the Pearl White RXZ dCi.

I have a few queries.
1. Does the scala RXZ dCi come with speed sensing autolock? At what speed do the doors lock?
2. Have you changed the speakers also?

In case you can make a visit to Navi Mumbai then try checking with Best Tyres on Palm Beach Road after Palm Beach Galleria when driving from Mumbai.

He is known to give best rates, when i compared with others while changing my Siena's shoes.

Hope it helps.

Cheers

Re: My Renault Scala - Metallic Blue - RXz Dci

Congrats on your blue eyed Scala. A very nice looking car indeed especially in this colour. and have to say much more exciting than its sibling.

Was always wondering if anyone had posted a ownership review of the Scala till now when I came across this thread. Should we say that yours is the first Scala in TBHP or did anyone beat it on that?

Wish you many happy miles in your new ride!

Congrats on the new car, so if there are any issues with Renault and Nissan we can approach you

By the way is the HU specifically for Renault or universal, how much is the price you paid?

Re: My Renault Scala - Metallic Blue - RXz Dci

Congrats for the Scala, the first ever on the forum, I suppose. Blue complements the exteriors really well.
Being an insider, can you share the reason for huge price differentials on like models of Sunny and Scala. Is it really the cost or the marketing strategy is to blame?

As far as I understood the Alliance between Renault and Nissan, Renault is premium when compared to Nissan. Hence the Scala has higher pricing and it has more features like leather seats, follow me headlamp and styling to differentiate the price point. Frankly speaking, this point doesn't satisfy me as a consumer. However I did like Scala better than Sunny with ride quality, gear shifts and better braking.

Re: My Renault Scala - Metallic Blue - RXz Dci

Any idea if the recall that affects the Micra and Sunny extends to the Scala and Pulse as well? I will be taking delivery of my Scala soon, will be helpful to know if it does.
