re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congratulations. Something really cool from the generally clinical Range Rover stable. The evoque looks splendid , the quality is top notch and it does have the go anywhere DNA of the RR. Getting dirty is mud never looked this good. Drive Safe.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Awesome review, the price was a shocker, I wrongly presumed that this was a 30 lakh Car, going by it being smaller than the FREELANDER

Wish you many happy miles with it

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congratulations for your evoque. This obviously is my favourite Range Rover and also my dream car. Rs. 74 lakhs OTR is quite steep though.

Its a very nice colour, just love it and something different from the regular whites and blacks that I see on Mumbai roads. Enjoy your ride to the fullest and keep on updating this thread. I am hooked.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

This should be right up there in your garage. Definitely a better color than Black and especially White. Every other Politician's son has a White Evoque in Hyderabad.

I always though the Evoque was in the 50 - 60 lakh range. Guess i'm wrong. Is Pure variant the top end model?

Congratulations ! That is a nice looking cute design, worth the money.

Earlier this month, Evoque won the Women's World Car of the Year 2012

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congrats on the new car.

Evoque is definitely one of the best designed vehicles. My heart skips a beat everytime I see one on the roads

I've not seen that colour on Range Rover, I'd say it looks really nice.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congratulations on the buy. This is a thing of beauty. I remember seeing it for the first time and being absolutely floored by it size, its presence and its sheer beauty. Gorgeous looking car. I love the colour too although I am not sure I would be brave enough to do the same but I think it is fantastically unique and looks surprisingly good on the car.

Looking forward to more pictures and the HD video. Congratulations once again and drive safe.

Note to self: Got to start saving up for the Evoque.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congrats on your new car and one brilliant review and lovely pictures.

A close friend of mine here in Calcutta owns a White Evoque. Its around 4 months old.His car too produces a noise from both the rear doors. He has sent to the A.S.S to get it rectified twice and it does come back fine but after a few days the rattle come back.
Could you please mention, what has been done by the dealers to remove the rattle.

Thanks
Rohin

Nice colour, congrats, pricey for the segment. But will be rare on the road.

Wonder why TATA has gone for this strategy for this vehicle.

Land Rover, worldwide, isn't able to meet the demands! Evoques are flying off the shelves as fast as they're made! Even in India at this price, there is a big chunk of the rich who find it to be the practical option over a mid-premium executive luxury sedan like the E / 5 / A6. Plus, it has tremendous appeal courtesy the sensational street-presence.

@kau_therock: Congratulations. I will keep an eye out to spot the car in Pune.
I am also wondering which would be your next car.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

How on earth do you manage the envy flying from all sides when you take this sparkling beauty on the road?
Any praise is a understatement when it comes to describing this car, just WOW.
You might have to wear gloves while handling the interiors, spotless!

Superb colour, please take it to a highway, make it stand in a shade with trees all over and shoot some frames.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Congo dude!!! This is definitely one of the most beautiful vehicles rolling on Indian roads. Looking at that it is hard to tell that it is not even designed by a real automobile designer!!! Vicky Beckham has done a brilliant job with the design and the car just struts the style about.

re: A new family member: Range Rover Evoque! EDIT: Battery Issues

Great car for sure. I have liked the design of the Evoque from the time it was conceptualized. Very neat and contemporary design.

Now that it has been a few months on the drive, please share your experience with the car in terms of handling (post run-in, getting higher speeds) and maintenance. From the look of the car, I get a feeling that the body roll should not be very high at high speeds, but will be interesting to hear first hand from you. Cheers!
