Congrats Vignesh!

Wish you many many happy miles with your beast. Hope Karl Slym ensures good service at the A.S.S centres too.

By the way, great narration there and wonderful pics. I especially liked the B/w or sepia filtered one. Awesome effort and thanks for sharing. Please do keep us posted on how the beast and it's makers treat you as you go along..

Congrats Vignesh. Wishing you miles of safe and joyful trips in your 'Kumki'. (Thanks for sharing the meaning behind the name).

Good to know the lighting, especially the fog lamps, are practical.

Congratulations on the new aquisition, Kumki will not disappoint you, wishing you a very happy ownership experience and thanks for the first ownership report of the Storme here on Tbhp.

The car comes with an I POD cable which looks like it doesn’t belong there. Yet to find where it plugs into the system.
The cable is to be plugged into a socket behind the HU, you need to pull out the HU to access that socket and route the cable to end somewhere convenient to you.

Hi Vignesh
Congrats on your new beast and a very apt name ( presumably inspired by the recent Tamil Movie ).

As you rightly said, the interiors in the Lx/Ex look far better than the Vx which has a Biege overdose inside ( and ofcourse a chrome overdose outside ).

Have you gone for any AMC plans ? Smart move there with the Extended warranty. Noted that you bargained for the alloy wheels. Did you negotiate on any other items ?

Sorry but missed noticing what is the other TML car you own ? wasnt any loyalty bonus offered ?

I have a Vista and am really in 2 minds whether one can manage 2 TML vehicles in 1 garage ! but your post seems to draw me towards that decision. Lets see in the coming weeks.

Pls post more pictures and keep the updates rolling

The other TML is the nano I ve mentioned in the post.its first lot from chennai Concorde. You would be fine with two TML in your garage don't worry.
I couldn't squeeze a penny out of them
,loyalty bonus or otherwise. I might go for alloy options outside with same size bridgestone dueller AT on same size alloys from outside.

Re: TATA Safari Storme EX Urban Bronze-Buying Experience Initial Ownership Report

Hello Vignesh,

Congratulations! A very well written and crisp review.

Really good to see that TML stood up, took notice and ironed out most of the kinks. The Storme seems to be a VFM vehicle now. Also, from Day1, the Safari had those Take-me-home looks

Really love the color of the brute as, that makes it look handsome . More pictures, please.

Wishing you many happy miles with your new acquisition.

Congrats Vignesh !! Glad to hear that you got the real glimpse of a real SUV right in initial period of ownership.
The articulation on the storme is so right that you wont feel afraid of taking her to any of the terrians.
I think we need more and more pics from you.

Re: TATA Safari Storme EX Urban Bronze-Buying Experience Initial Ownership Report

Hearty congrats Vignesh.

Eager to see the pics of interiors. Yes, black is always better interior than beige to maintain. Any plans to upgrade seat covers? And update on alloys?
