The OTR in Mysore is 17.10 again depends on the insurance as well , mine was tata-Aig: 44.5K .

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congrats on the Storme. The black simply looks smashing. Mysore I believe is not as dusty as Bangalore so should help you keep it clean and dust free.

Do post more pictures.

Enjoy many more happy miles with the storme.

I guess I have lost track of prices of some of the cars. 17.10 sounds a lot. Doesn't that fall right into Aria category? Any reasons for not considering that? It might have been more comfortable to be in and given the discounts it has must have made a compelling case for itself.

Yes the Aria interiors are much more classier agreed but i never considered this as i was particular on a 4x4 with low range.

@Fortuner71

Please allow me to congratulate you "again" on your new brute.

If in case you are wondering when did I congratulate you first , we met when you were installing the VKOOLs at SJP Road.

Cheers!

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congrats Fortuner71!

Reckon your ownership thread will be in the spot light since you are most probably going to one of the first to hit the service intervals of the Storme and finally the LTOR.

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Let me congratulate you first. The Storme is quite a looker and my personal opinion is that it looks much better than the old Safari from the front. And that is quite an achievement!

I am going to be living vicariously through you Storme owners till I can gather some more confidence that its a sorted out Tata vehicle, and of course gather some more cash if they decide not to offer a 4wd in lower variants!

Finally, I am happy to see positive views about the Storme from most people. I think the initial apprehension about a Tata product will hopefully turn into positive appreciation if they manage to keep the initial owners happy!

Cheers and Good luck!
Adi

Buddy, you should check out the Light Golden Beige Storme shade. Looks super, so does the Aluminium Silver, so does the Maroon. Point being, it looks awesome in all shades

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congrats on your new car!!

Safari was always a good car, and now with the new platform as long as Tata can maintain the strengths of the older safari, with much better reliability, features and ASS, it will change the perception that TATA has currently.

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congratulations Fortuner71 !

I noticed that your Storme has what looks like Bridgestone HTs. Did you by any chance check with the dealer if they have an option to get ATs fixed (at an additional cost maybe) since yours is a 4X4?

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congrats! Do keep the thread alive.

Just drove one last day. I might test drive the VX too soon ( no no, not for me ).

Can you post pix of the headlight's light throw at night? Wanna see how good it is over the old one's.

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Many Congratulations Fortuner 71 for your Storme.
Great to see that the early customers of the Storme are very happy about the car.
This should do a lot of good to inspire customer confidence for TMIL.

Wish you many happy mile munching with the car and absolute niggle free performance.
Enjoy your ride and drive safe.

Hi No I never checked on the AT option , I mainly do highway drives with once in 2 months rough terrain and some jungle trails , will change based on need .

Re: Windy, Cloudy & Finally a Storme

Congratulations Fortuner71 !

New Safari is much much better looking compared to old safari. Only that spare wheel on back door gave old safari butch look.

I have observed all TATA vehicles (most cars) have similar/typical looks in front grills, head lights, TATA Logo positioning, wheel arches etc which I didn't like. Even Aria has those characteristics. TATA has to come out of it. But Safari is an exception more so new Safari.

Looks clean and heaven for true blue off roaders.

Have a safe ride.
