Yes. Here in the forum ,I remember seeing different prices across dealers. I am not installing any of these useless accessories , just wanted to check.
Anyone wanting to install anything , I would suggest writing to Honda and checking on the prices. These dealers just try taking everyone for a ride !
Just wanted to update the mileage of Petrol Amaze.
Hills/Mountains 14
City 14 to 15
Highway 16.5 to 17.
This car has run only 1000 kms, so hopefully it should get slightly better.

I totally agree with you Satya. I too have enquired the prices across Tamil Nadu and also in Bangalore. Different dealers quote different prices. But after market products are also of the same quality and are available at 1/3rd of the price specified by the dealer.
And also dealers charge an extra amount for installation too with service taxes. Honda should try to adjust with mass market.
I too am waiting for installation of seat covers . As the back seat is fixed I am wondering how they install covers on them perfectly . Also on the lookout for reverse sensors with display in the irvm .
Pricey, but I see the standard 2DIN AVN from MMI supports Rear View Sensors. So no need for display in the IRVN. Will fit the Amaze / Brio like a glove.

Cost is around 40k. I don't think anyone will go for that.
On the other hand, my friend got this:
1. He installed parking sensors for 5.5k.
2. He then got MMI 5 inch navigator installed for 17k and Honda gave him a camera for free. Now while reversing the navigator gives a camera o/p and IRVM gives sensor o/p.
I am looking for options for my d-i-l's Amaze AT which is to be delivered in early January. I have reversing sensors on both my Civic (standard with BS-IV) and Brio.

Well i think they are already discussed here.
For dealer fitment two options are:
1. Non camera sensors. IRVM display, 4 sensors. Cost: 5.5k
2. Camera sensors. IRVM display, 2 or 4 sensors(don't know exactly). Cost: 9.5k

Such a long waiting period ? Three months plus. As you would have seen from my thread on Amaze AT, I got mine in 3 days. This was in end of May 2013.
How things turn around when demad builds up !!
Best Regards and Drive Safe

It is two months plus for both P & D. More for the AT. There is no point in taking delivery in the end of December, so I have booked accordingly.

When I think of all these extra fittings, I just calculate the number of liters that can be filled up and also the number of kms that can be covered using that amount.
For eg: Non-Camera sensors cost 5.5k, with this amount we can fill her up with 96ltr of diesel and its good to go for at least 2000 kms.
Is it only me or does every one think like me?
Amaze has spoiled me a lot.
You could compare the amount with the money spent on repairing damaged or broken rear bumper. Worst case hitting something or someone and having to pay. If one does this one time too many, a reversing sensor/camera would make excellent investment.

Depends on who is using it. If it's someone who has been driving since a long time , maybe reverse sensors aren't needed. These extra accessories might be helpful in families where more than one person drives the car or for a newbie. If you talk in terms of saving money and using it on fuel , why would you buy the top end , why not buy the base version and use the 2L for fuel :D
After having used amaze for 3 months I feel the need for reverse sensors as the rear glass is small and many blind spots . Same with my swift dzire . Never felt it with my indigo dicor .
