Hi Team:

Regret the delay as I had been running busy through the week. First thanks manson, premchetan, buzzin hornets for your wishes. Here are the promised pics for the Adventure. The car was not spanking clean when I got them though, Hope I have your forgiveness for that

Need some more details on Fuel Economy of Fiat Adventure

Hi! Cngrats on the buy! Its indeed a great CAR. But then, I have my reservations on Fuel Economy. I guess, it shouldn't be more than 8kmpl in City with AC on as the car is more than 1.2 ton and FIAT is not known for FE anyways. Can you please get back with critical analysis of FE. I may go for one as I am on the verge of buying a new car. Only the FE is holding me back and making me think about a Honda City. I will go for it, if your critical analysis tells the CAR gives anything more than 8kmpl in city with a/c on.

Nice. Have there been any changes to the interiors from the older Adventure?

I think the claims about bad FE are more rumors than substance in case of fiat cars. go to the paliousers group on yahoo and u will have owners from all over the country reporting city mileage between 12 and 14 for their palios and about 10 to 11 for their Petras/adventure.

This is pretty much the ballpark for most cars these days. A honda city with AC in city also gives about 12.

so be rest assured, FE is not an issue at all.

My 3 week old palio is giving me 12.5 with AC in Bangalore. Need I say more!

One of my friend have a NHC and is getting 11-12 kmpl in city(bangalore).
I get 10-11 kmpl in my petra. I don't understand why people tend to say that fiats give horrible FE. There may be certain cases (exceptions) for a car because of some tuning or other problem. but then I have seen Accent and Swift owners claiming of 7-8kmpl which is again an exception.

I don't think there is much difference in FE for petrol cars present in the market with similar power and weight.

So when you test drive, Better decide on ride quality/handling/power/safety/feel etc.
Cheers
