Pajero Sport Automatic finally launching on November 14, 2014.
The photo on their website sports a new montero like grill, I wonder if that would be available as an accessory for the current Pajero Sport ownsers.

The launch is on the 15th at Shangri La, New Delhi.

Also, as pointed out by you, the manual and the automatic versions will have the revised grill and bumper going forward in line with the 2014 models of other countries.

Once the grill is introduced in India, customers too can buy it as a spare part and use it.

Wow.. A newspaper advertisement for Pajero Sport. Now that's something I haven't seen earlier and I'm glad to see. Thanks mainly to the newly launched Pajero Sport Automatic and I hope the increasing customer base will also make HM/Mitsubishi to publicise this more.

Indeed.. I was heartened to see this ad too! All of us definitely want this product to do good in the market. Not just because we own it, but its truly a satisfying product. Best of luck, HM Mitsu!

They've launched the AT only in 2wd though, right? That is a bit of a bummer.

Yeah but maybe they want to keep the price lower or at par with their current model plus a hook for customer to choose manual 4x4 if they really want the classic off-roader. They want to keep up the sale of both of these models and leave something for each one of them - AT vs 4x4. 4x2 AT in this case would mostly be a city/highway vehicle.

I think if they are looking at higher volumes a 4x4 AT would hit a better price point..Wonder if I can get my front grill upgraded as well :) rather liked it.

Yes they make amazing cars but what is the point of selling cars if they cant service them properly?
Mitsubishi have no parts, no proper service, nothing!

Last time when I was at SVR, There was a Pajero waiting for rear pads - ETA was 20 days.
Another car needed bearings. ETA 1 month!
Spare part prices can be compared to some luxury German brands. :deadhorse

Mitsubishi is very-very poorly managed in India.

You can do that, but if you do try and paint the chrome parts black, it will look real sporty.

Was this the old Pajero, or the Pajero Sport? Its not surprising if its the former.

It was for both!!
The bearings were for the older one and the pads for the Pajero sport.

From my market search, spare parts for the Pajero Sport are easily available in the open market too, at Delhi and Bombay. I am sure Bangalore too has similar outlets.

For example, my front brake pads were NOT purchased at the showroom and I was able to get genuine brake pads in Delhi from the open market for 30% of the showroom price.

While this is true, there is just a small percentage of customers who do that.
There are many who just send the driver to get the car serviced and then they are informed: part has to be ordered - it will take 2-3 weeks.
This shows poor planning.

Your location shows Bangalore, Where in Bangalore do you get Mitsubishi parts? I have searched all over, no one seems to have them or be interested enough to source them. They usually try and sell me their garbage - whatever they have!

Really want to know where you buy them, This will be helpful to me and other Mitsubishi owners here as well :D

I haven't yet had the need to hunt for spare parts here at Bangalore. SVR has been able to meet all my requirements till date.

Dev, given your extensive contacts, please do help figure out alternate sources in Bangalore if possible - that would be a great help for all the Bangalore based Mitsubishi owners.

I happen to come across your posts every once in a while. But maybe I missed out, did you replace your scorpio with a PS. Why no ownership threads ?
