Re: Ford EcoSport 1.5D Titanium - Owner's Log of the Beauty, or the Beast?

Fantastic report naveen.
As always and as expected, vaisakhr's snaps are top class.

Looking forward to the next meet when I can take the beauty for a spin.
I am sure the other Kochi Bhpians would echo the same thoughts as mine

Congrats Naveen on your new car.

So we have a new ES for our BHPians group. The first two snaps were really good.

Looking forward to see the snaps of your upcoming meets and photoshoots.

Cheers

A big congratulations on your new Ecosport The move from Swift to Ecosport is Spot On and you can't make this any better. Also I'll have to mention this, you are so lucky to bring this beauty / beast to your garage considering the quick turn around time from Swift to Ecosport. It is needless for me to say as you must be aware how many bhpians are still waiting to lay their hands on its wheel.

Re: Ford EcoSport 1.5D Titanium - Owner's Log of the Beauty, or the Beast?

I fell in love with those pictures and I was searching for words to describe how much I like them. I guess this sentence is what truly expresses my feelings, in all honesty:

I have a diamond white ecosport too, but mine is definitely not as beautiful as yours.

We wish you many many years of cheerful and wonderful memories with this car.

Re: Ford EcoSport 1.5D Titanium - Owner's Log of the Beauty, or the Beast?

Congrats Naveen!! For bringing the Ecosport home and also for delivering this thread to us with excellent photos(Kudos vaisakhr). The wait was worth it for you(car) and for us(thread)

Even I would rate Maruti service charge as exorbitantly high. For the amount of money spent on servicing a Swift, we can service a higher segment Honda or Ford sedan. But this makes it easier for people owning a Swift to bravely upgrade to a costlier Sedan or mini SUV without fearing service charge or maintenance. I thank Maruti for that

Enjoy buddy!!

Congrats Naveen. A great addition to our group. And glad to know that Ford stick with the old pricing in your case. Wish you great many miles with the EcoSport.

And some awesome signature snaps in there by vaisakh.

Re: Ford EcoSport 1.5D Titanium - Owner's Log of the Beauty, or the Beast?

Update:

Now I know why people say MRF tyres are bad. Went over a slab and the side wall cracked. It was just a small touch and it cracked. This is not the first time. Have taken this route N number of times and my Swift showed no problems.

To guys taking delivery of the ecosport, Please change to some other brand. MRF is PATHETIC!

That is sad. Though i have never used MRF tyres, i have read that its pretty hard and mrf focuses more on longevity than grip or comfort. Call it co incidence but a dealer's demo Ecosport here has a big hole in the MRF tyre on rear tail gate.

If i get Good year assurance i will not change but if i get MRF's, i will change to Bridgestone MY02, have them on my Linea from past 10k kms, no complaints.

Nice echoic presentation. Wishing you very many smiling miles. Looking forward to the next meet to see your ride.
Mr Alby was our SE too when we bought my wife's Figo. His car too has a LTD sticker in the rear.

I hate MRF's anyway

Your car and it's the is under warranty so did you get it changed? It is a series problem so did you contact Ford or MRF?

I called up the SE but said no warranty on tyres. I will have to replace it. Shot a mail to MRF asking for explanation but expecting no reply. Anyways, I shall post this online and make sure everyone comes to know.
