You most probably need LL04, since your car would have a DPF. BMW uses 5w30 spec oil.

Yes. LL04 it is. Go for Castrol. They were the oil supplier to the dealers a couple of years back. Or, pick it off the shelf from the dealer itself. Won't be much of a difference. About 200 Rs or so per litre. So, for 6.5 litres we talk about 1200 Rs difference only.

May be the dealer gives you a discount too.

Thanks, wanted to confirm if the cars sold in India have DPF. If yes, then I guess LL-04 is a must.

Thank you, but I guess its the Castrol Edge which is fully synth and will be closer to Rs 1000 per litre

Hello folks! I am brand new to the team, but have been following this thread for quite some time. I too am a proud owner of the X1 for the past 6 years! Did any of you fellows find a retrofit for the halogen headlamps? I too, like some of you, dearly miss the corona rings right from day one! If only I had the money to buy the perfect car!
