Whoever said Maruti is cheapest and best is quite wrong in today's times.
Which Service center is that? I hope it is not Rohan Motors. I had to sell my first car as they messed it up real bad.

No idea on that.

I am afraid it is indeed Rohan Motors Gurgaon. This is not heartening.

I have tried their service centers in Noida, Greater Noida and Gurgaon. They are the ones who have an eye for low IQ guys to hire in their workshops. I will never ever trust them with my car.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi: Things get really LUVly

So the car is back today evening. From initial impressions, work seems to be satisfactorily good. Also took it for a short drive and did not notice anything wrong.

I am just glad it is back.

Glad she's back and you were unhurt and I don't know how I missed this! Airbags popping out just seems to be a part of rotted luck that you had that day,you seem to have hit the sensor. What tires is/was she running at that time? Upgrade to a better rubber when they are out.

Thanks man. She is running the stock 185 section tires and yes I am waiting for it to wear out of which will decide whether we will even keep the car or not.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi: Things get really LUVly

Car dropped at Rana Motors Gurgaon for its 40,000 kilometers servicing with the ODO at 43,500 kms.

Total bill estimated is roughly at 8000.

Couple issues:

-The front suzuki emblem flew out while driving home one day so getting a new one stuck on.

-The RHS foglamp is filled with water and this has happened after the repairs work done. Have instructed SA to clean it out. If water still comes back then will get the unit changed.

-The illuminated scuff plate got taken out by a passenger on the left back door so will get that fixed too soon.

-The left rear door protector has fallen off so that will be fixed too soon.

That is how the car looks as of yesterday.

That is a comple misconception. Airbag deployment has nothing to do with seatbelt usage. Yes, one should wear a seatbelt for safety and not wearing a seatbelt with an airbag equipped car can sometimes be even more dangerous if one hits a deploying airbag. However, airbags will deploy regardless of whether the occupants are wearing seatbelts. Some cars have an advanced detection system that determines if there is a front seat passenger and deploys the passenger side airbag only if a passenger is occupying that seat.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi: Things get really LUVly

Completed 50k kms milestone in a year and a half.

FE hovers 17-18 in the city and 19-20 on highways constant. Just flawlessly clocking the miles. Fill it shut it forget it types.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi: Things get really LUVly

So the workhorse completes 60,000 kms and it is still yet to turn 2 years old.

Experience has been good. Changed SVC recently in last service and experience has gone up. Still chugging the miles effortlessly. We were due to replace it now but it is doing its work efficiently so might as well let it carry on for some more time.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi: Things get really LUVly

So the Ertiga crossed 70,000 kms some days back and the servicing was done.

The cost of the servicing was 6.8k. Car is performing flawlessly. No issues. Fill it shut it forget it types.

Current odo at 73,400 kms in 2 years and 3.5 months.
