Watching a video of a T6 Polestar accelerating from stand still, I was wondering if what I saw and heard was that of a missile taking off. That is one heck of a car you got there.

Going by your location, I guess there is little scope to wring that engine.

There are quite a few videos of the Polestar cars on the net.
Since Volvo sells the Polestar ECU remap as an accessory, a lot of mildly modded cars like mine will also have the Polestar logo.
The ECU remap that Volvo sells as an accessory only changes the timing of injection and increases the boost pressure slightly.
But I have a feeling that the missile that you saw is heavily modded.

Kerala has a few winding roads where you can enjoy the handling & grip levels of the car, but if you have to stretch your leg and check the high speed performance, you need to get out of kerala.

You may be right in saying this car isn't a "look at me!!" sort of attention grabber, but it sure is a 'looker' in its own right, esp. with the enthusiast crowd. I bet it's more satisfying to get a grin and a from someone who knows his/her cars, rather than an average Joe non-enthusiast on the street who thinks every pricey car is a looker.

Anyway, the car looks a million bucks and I'm sure drives like several millions worth. I had a big grin on my face just reading your notes. Like GTO says, you just bought yourself the mother of pre-worshipped cars. Enjoy!!!

Left kerala on the 20th and has already been to Bangalore, Mumbai, Vizag and now in Kolkata.
Plan to head back via Puri and Hyderabad.

Woah buddy you studied in kolkata. Wish I could've met with you and your mean beast which travelled all the way from kerala without missing a single beat I hope. The germans should learn something about reliability from the swede I think. Anyways heartiest congratulations to you buddy.

We did almost 7000 kms without any hiccups from the car.
No surprises from the car during the whole trip.

I enjoyed the ample torque available from the T6 motor while on the road.
I personally like to feel the torque of the motor pulling the car on the same gear than the gearbox shifting down and surging the car ahead. The feel of the petrol motor and the torque available hits the sweet spot for me.

The "S" mode changes the nature of the car from a beauty to a beast, to say the least.
The surge from the car is brutal.
I hardly used the S mode because I found it not required for all normal situations. The only scenarios I can think of its use is in case of road racing/ road rage etc. which I tend to avoid. I used S mode mostly while descending the ghat sections to avoid using brakes.

Some points to note from the trip.

• Bangalore city roads were a surprise. I did not expect it to be the worse of the lot
  
• The car bottomed out only in Bangalore city and some very bad patches between the completed road sections in Orissa/ Bengal area.
  
• HV Kumar is the best with regards to the Indian Highways. I called him up a few times and got very useful information.
