No, not yet, Im still confused between 14" & 15"

The windscreen was 6.5k, adhesive and labor came to 1.5k

Also, regarding the flip key, the baleno key is a bit longer compared to normal car keys. I dont know if the flippy key is gonna be of same length, so cant order one. Even i want one.

Weekend mood spoiled by a 2 wheeler & Govt Bus

Driven my friend'd old Honda City with 195/55R15 tires and dropped the idea of upgrading to this spec. Road grip is excellent and it takes the corners with much confidence. On the other hand ride is pathetic. Each and every patch on the road could be easily felt inside the cabin.

Finalized the tire upgrade spec.
Tire : 185/65R14 Michelin or Yokohama
Wheel : 14x5.5J/6J Alloys
Yet to decide the Alloy brand & design, please suggest.

Out of Plati, Neo, HRS, [Others] which is better. I came across mixed reviews on all brands. Please suggest a 14" alloy.

Few queries,
1) Can someone share the Baleno wheel offset? (35~38mm, 40mm on various sites)
2) Confused between Machined alloys and regular painted one. Machined wheels looks good (to me) but minor scratches spoil their look. Regular ones can be repainted, is there a cost effective way to repair machined alloys?

It's a government owned bus. So that is very unlikely to happen.

DIY Horn replacement

Tools required: (specific to this case)
- 12mm Spanner (nothing more)

Procedure:
- Locate the OE horns behind the radiator grill
- Use 12mm spanner and a little effort to unscrew the horn bolts
- Remove the sockets (they are universal sockets, unlike some proprietary sockets in few current gen cars)
- Fix the new horns and connect the sockets back

Total Cost:
Horn : 550 INR

Time Consumed:
Less than 10 minutes

Mr.Boss - Sad to see that scrapping issue on your Baleno. Hope the car is nicely finished and returned. BTW, where are you doing your mechanical and re-painting work in Chennai ?

Srinivasa Auto Garage - Bosch Authorized car service, Maraimalai Nagar. They have separate garage for Mechanical works and Tinkering / Painting works along with 2 independent water wash areas.
