| ![]() I have competed almost 11 months with the Creta At. 15000 kms on the Odo. The vehicle has become the daily workhorse for me and my family. AT is a boon in the city as well as on the highway. The only disappointing thing is the way it drives in the hills where you need to downshift to make it pull through. There is a lot of rattling sound from the boot. Has anyone found any solution to it ? |

BHPian Naveen.Raju had elaborated in a small DIY how it can be eliminated and can be read on his thread. Link to where he mentions this :- http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post3895261. Hope it helps. Keep us updated.

It is generally best to drive on Tiptronic mode in the hills, while going up and coming down too. Going up gives you better acceleration and coming down will give you better braking via engine braking. This is a general problem with any automatic, as the car can't predict an uphill, but you can see and act accordingly. With Automatics, on uphill, you will have to keep pressing down the pedal which in turn changes to a lower gear. Hope this helps.

| ![]() I had been thinking for a while whether Hyundai could offer Android Auto as a free/paid software upgrade to existing Creta owners and I happened to come across this article which says its being done for the new Tucson. Android Auto would be a nice feature to have and since the hardware is already present all it requires is a software upgrade. Thoughts ? ![]() Quote:

BHPian | ![]() For all those who have renewed their insurance for their Creta, please could you help me with the amount you paid. I have the SX(O) and the proposal from the dealer for renewal is 48,000. Is this a reasonable amount with inclusions of zero depreciation + RTI ? |

Use the dashboard polish on all the plastic claddings every 2 - 3 months, apply the polish and then wipe with clean cloth, the shine will remain for a month or so and then will require cleaning. After applying polish ensure that the claddings are washed everyday whilst car is washed, it works well.

Insurance cost will vary with IDV and model. If you are in Mumbai try out Coverfox. They offered me great deals and support but due to my locations i had to go elsewhere.

How much did the dealer charge for the side step and its installation? Also share whether this design enhances the look of the vehicle or is only for utility purpose. Asking this since there are a lot of after market options available. Is any other dealer provided accessory shown in your list worth a buy from the "value for money" perspective? (which enahnces the look of the vehicle as well as provides utility) Last edited by TorkBHP : 21st September 2016 at 20:27.

| ![]() As soon as you press the 'Stop' button the entire car shuts down, including the ICE and air blowers! Shouldn't it be just the engine shutdown on 1 press? Find such things really frustrating! |

It has both utility and enhancement IMO. In fact now i can easily clean the full roof by standing on the side steps and they seem to be very sturdy. Catch a lot of dust though. I am not a fan of extra chrome which is adequate in an SX+, but would at some point of time add the front and rear bumpers which are way better than after market ones. They are subtle, fit snugly, do not over shadow everything else and most importantly do not interfere in the Airbag sensor functions. Only drawback is price.
