Volvo's all-new XC90 SUV has just received EuroNCAP's 2015 'Best in Class' award in both Large Off-Road and Overall Performance categories.

The XC90 scored 100% in the Safety Assist category and a highly impressive 97% in adult occupant protection, which directly reflects Volvo's innovative approach to further developing their safety systems.

I saw an XC90 in the flesh yesterday at Khan market @ Delhi. As the big burly SUV passed by - I could see a very bollywood style JAW DROPPING sequence .A crowd of flabbergasted people and even a few Merc/BMW owners in their swanky rides had their eyes set on it like an eagle.

It looks really impressive and if not anything - people will buy it just for its looks. It might not have the snob value associated with other brands like BMW and Merc, but it more than makes up for it by the sheer "WOW" factor.

Spotted this beast today, The car was out of the showroom with all the ribbons around it, And man! It looked amazing! Trust me the new Audi Q7 doesn't even come close to how this XC90 looks! A dream to own this beast, which i plan to fulfill really soon.

I saw this on the roads of chandigarh in silver color and I was flattered.

Mind you, i was driving ny GL, however the looks of this is just awesome.

New audi q7 is not very imposing and didn't appeal to me.

Exactly my thought, The new Q7 looks a tad compact with its design, On the other hand specially the front end on the Volvo is really menacing. I did not expect it too look so bloody good in flesh.

Finally got to see it in the flesh near the BETL toll as they were unloaded yesterday. It looks good but the silver shade was quite a dull one. Some lucky owners will be getting theirs today I guess.

Was it there for any repairs? Looks like the front took some beating. The number plate seems to be broken as well.

Nearly snapped my neck when I saw one of these today. This is a fair better looker than the ugly new Q7 as well as the aging GL! It has immense road presence, and I sensed quite a few people slowing down and craning their necks to look at it! Like Akshay said above, if Volvo market this right, then they have a winner on their hands.

Booked xc90 momentum couple of days back. Expecting delivery in a week.
Its the T6 4 cyl turbo petrol.Planning to add the polestar performance option .
The dealer in Dubai had only a few cars to choose from .As per him the demand is pretty good for the new model

I saw a XC90 being unloaded from truck in a truck parking a week back here in chennai! Guess it was customer's car and some showroom officials did inspection, took the car and flew away! Immense road presence and definitely looks something new on the road !

Any confirmed news about 4 seater Hybrid that the plan to Launch, I took test drive yesterday for the Diesel , interiors are simply amazing but the engine sounds like a mixer/grinder at home. Although vehicle had standard Air Suspension but I can feel thuds far greater than other comparable vehicles in this class
