Isn't that a red stain on the scratch. The Jag probably knicked It in jealousy; )

But seriously, rubbing + polish should take care of it.

It is the same story at my place too, can very well relate to it. No one comes forward to accept their mistake when a scratch is found on any of our cars, one of the reasons why only dad and me are allowed to touch the bmw's keys. People around have no respect for other's cars, this could have happened when the car was parked some where, did you try using rubbing compound?

Great write up & video/s !

The software update is a 10 minute job. My March 2016 Figo trend was updated at the first service.

Cheers

You're welcome !

Thanks - Those rims are 15" & running 195/55/R15 Yokohama S Drives

That's the one thing Ford got wrong - the wheels - so changed them the day I got the car :-)

Cheers

A question here, any impact on warranty? I have a Ritz and within a year of usage in our smooth Mumbai roads its suspension bushes gave up and were replaced under warranty.

Also, another question is that the rear seat headrest is fixed, is there any solution to that? In my house, my mom is short and sister is tall, either one of them will find it supportive, hence can we fit an adjustable headrest?

One more question, compared to Ritz (if you have driven it), how is the ride quality, and boot space?

Thank you.

Update: 2nd Service @ 10,000km;

The car went in for its 2nd service at SC Ford day before yesterday.

This service included an engine oil, filter change, brake cleaning & regular wash.

I avoided the wheel alignment as it wasn't required, but yes the wheel rotation was done.

^ Also finally the RCM software update was done (Airbag Recall Issue)

My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi-imageuploadedbyteambhp1472297110.023361.jpg

Total bill was of Rs 1767/- (Inclusive of Taxes)

The car feels so much smoother after the oil change, also i'm considering to go in for fully synthetic engine oil during the next service, any thoughts or recommendations will be welcome.

I'm wondering why is the air filter and the fuel filter not changed at 10k kms?

For 1.5 TDCi engines, air filters have a replacement interval of 20k kms and fuel filter is changed at 30k kms. I personally change the air filter at every 10k kms for both Ecosport/Fiesta as it is very cheap at around 200 INR.

10k kms is too early for fuel filter replacement, only VW/Skoda need a fuel filter change every 15k, Maruti's interval is 20k, Ford at 30k and Toyota is lifetime.
