The alloy design it simple, elegant and easy to maintain. Cleaning of brake disc dust from front wheels is very easy


The company fitted apollo apterras are very good. Road noise is pretty less and the thick side wall gives extra cushioning effect

Vehicle in front, beware a tank is on your back. When a vehicle in front sees this monster in its RVMs, you are guaranteed the "right of way"

The rear of the TUV3OO is like you love it or hate it. The read shield is of medium size and limits the rearward visibility from the IRVM. To top it the spare wheel cover eats some portion of the rear windshield. While travelling straight ahead you get a decent view of the rear, however while reversing you have to be extra cautious if you are dependent on the IRVM to get a rear view. The huge ORVMs are a saving grace though and greatly enhance the story unfolding at the back of the car. Some shots of the car's back.

The rear wiper jutting out from the back of spare wheel. This is a must have feature for me (both my earlier cars, Indica and Innova had rear wipers). I had rejected the TUV-T6+, Ertiga-VDi, Scorpio S6, Mobilio SMT and many other lower variants only because they didn't sport a rear wash and wipe feature

The seats and floor matting

The second row seat is absolutely flat but provides decent underthigh and back support


Notice the neck pillows for the front and rear seats. These are a straight lift from my erstwhile Innova

The centre console, very simple and elegant design

The lamp in the glove box illuminates it as soon as it is opened (nice touch)


Instrument cluster lights up as soon as the ignition key is turned to "ON" position


Momentarily the indicators on the dash flashing up and the speedo-tacho dial needles giving a salute

This is where the power comes from, the "mHawk80" engine. I don't understand why 80, because the actual power rating is 84bhp

The left rear door arm rest. Generous amount of padding on the arm rest makes it a comfortable place to rest your hand. Also note the bottle holder and pocket for nick-knacks

The boot door has grab handle at centre, centre bottle holder, arm rests for the two passengers (unfortunately they don't get padding) and two big pockets for storing sundry items

Driver side door (no power window buttons on this as they are near the handbrake). My steel water tumbler and the Meguair micro fibre cloth are an easy fit.

Excellent review Autoindian. Here's wishing you a happy and a troublefree ownership with the TANK! One quick question here and maybe other TANK owners in this forum can throw some light on this. Is the TUV available in custom colors other than the stock ones offered by M&M ? I would like mine in chocolate brown ,similar to the shades offered by Ecosport & S-Cross. If this isn't possible then an olive green shade would be my second choice.

Does the TUV have a AC filter? If yes, do insist & ensure that the ASC folks clean it at every service, even if it's not mentioned in the manual. This will contribute a lot to the effectiveness of the AC.
