Hey. How did you get the silver garnish on grills. My dealer in gurgaon doesnt gave that option. And any upgrades on low beam lights since they are inadequate.

The silver garnish is standard fitment from factory in GX variant. The G variant comes with all black grill. I found low beams to be okay along with Fog lamps, so running stock in both. You can get Osram Night Breaker Laser as a quick fix solution though gains would be about 10-20% and more whiter light.

I believe mine is a GX and there is no G variant now. I thought in your review you mentioned that you got silver garnish with wood finish and thus the query

Are you referring to silver garnish on dashboard? Or the exterior front grille? The one on grille is factory fit while the one in dashboard is a genuine Toyota accessory or I am told. I have it in both my Innova. The wooden trim plus silver garnish cost me 7.5k from Toyota. BTW there is G variant and also a G+ variant, both which are made to order.

Ah. Yes referring to the silver finish around the AC vents. I paid some 10k for the 7 piece wood finish but they dint have the silver finish. Let me find out more. Thanks. Possible for you to check if your dealer still has it. Would be helpful.

It is available and is being quoted at around 9-10K as per dealer. Almost all the GX variant here have both wood finish and silver garnish installed.

Thanks for all the help. Finally traced the replacement grill to the store, ordered it and got it fitted last weekend. Cost around 3k and it looks way better than before. Thanks again for all the help. Some pics of final outcome and WIP.

Looks good. Wish Toyota also offered Auto AC unit as add on accessory. I remember Ali Express had Auto AC units for old Innova which were pretty much DIY and din't cost much.

Precisely what I asked the dealer. Can we get auto AC too. In addition, maybe navigation on the stock unit as an option and LED foglamps. Getting greedy now.

Navigation from Toyota is a joke. May be helpful at places without mobile connectivity, everywhere else I found them crap. The stock unit has capability for mirrorlink but Toyota have disabled in software, Enabling this is bare minimum what Toyota could have done.

White Cyrsta has done 38K and have replaced front tyres. Had lost one other trye when the car accidentally ran over sharp object. Have got Yokohama Earth 1 in stock size- 6100 a piece. Decent tyres. The car should be going for 40K service in a months time. No issues to report.

Garnet Red one has done 20K and will be going for service this weekend. Did a Bangalore-Goa run and touchwood, not a single rattle yet. Tyres look good for another 20K. Had manged to scrap the front bumper, got them touched up at FNG. The front left Indicator had cracked, original one's cost 5K, got one online for 500RS, is looking good so far.

Completed 20k service for garnet red. Costed 10k plus 1.5k for alignment balancing and rotation. Could have avoided engine flush and injector cleaning, somehow decided to get done this time around.

Got a 10inch Android HU for white Crysta. Red Soul is the brand and seem to be good for now atleast the looks and functionality part. Sounds good too, with Rockford fosgate speakers.

Its been about two months since I got HU upgraded. So far its been good. At 12K it is VFM. Music sounds as good as earlier. The white one is inching close to 40K. Have replaced all 4 tyres with Yokohama Earth 1 stock size.

The white one in the background has clocked 40k and red one about 22k. Yokohama on white one are nice, waiting to finish off Apollo's.

Another weekend, cars enjoy a nice wash and get some sun time. Waiting for lockdown to end and hit highway.
