Then you should have quoted that and said what you just said, isn't it?
Anyways, it is true and they do rectify them in couple of months post launch of a new product. Current example being Harrier.

Did not personally mean or feel that the review is a proof of anything but of how much the car is admired and Tata's brave step to give us JTP especially when the industry is going through a rough phase.

Point taken! I should have addressed "niggles" to another poster in earlier part of the thread who talks about "niggles".

Your pictures of the pocket rocket JTP are amazing!!
Congratulations on the purchase and happy miles crunching.
I have read in other reviews that driving the car in City is little troublesome, because of the turbo lag, what’s your experience been?

Thanks pal for reading and the wishes

It's jerky at slow speeds in sports mode but okay in city mode, nothing much bothersome. Also maybe I am one of the lucky few JTPian whose daily ride is a 2 wheeler

Congrats Himanshu on your purchase of this Pocket Rocket!!

Your pictures are awesome, nice photography and highlights the car so much. Have a safe and wonderful driving experience and lots of mile munching with loads of fun.

Your review was to the point and well written. Thank you. Three reviews on this forum gives out all information needed for any future buyer of JTPs. Ksameer, Mi10 and your reviews helped me decide on a JTP. Hopefully soon.

Second Service Update

The second service was done at Wasan Motors, Mumbai at odometer reading 4877 kms. The steering wheel was centred, dashboard creaking addressed and I opted to change the engine oil though it is due in the third service.

But the dashboard now makes a different sort of noise, will have to sort that on next visit to the service station.

Also installed the custom seat covers from Orchis

The JTP also got Vesafe TPMS which a friend bought from abroad..

I envy you!! Beautiful car. One noise gone with another coming, I copy this statement: "Just TATA doing TATA things...", said by some BHPian and I love it.

It is no match for the push this car gives and the exhaust note. That noise tops everything.

Be careful with your sensors, here in Chennai, I experienced in some petrol stations the attendants don't know what this is and end up misplacing them. I ensure to stay next to them when they fill the air or I do it myself.

Thanks for liking the car

Won't completely blame them though as when we took a test drive on a bad patch near the service centre, the rattling noise was indeed gone but whenever I pass through some broken tarmac road, a different noise comes, though equally irritating.

Yes I do take care while filling the air, mostly I do it myself so not much of a worry, thanks again for the concern

As much as we all want a rattle free silent car, there is a degree of inevitability to these in every car. I'd let it go unless it's really bad - it's not worth messing with the dashboard on a brand new car.

Re: JTP Experience - My Red Tata Tiago JTP

Third Service Update

Just after my second service the lock down began and didn’t get much kilometres on odo but as the first anniversary of buying was approaching fast, booked a appointment with Jaika Motors, Amravati and asked them to get the regular service done, but they said it was not needed as I had changed the oil in second service and no lubricant change was due as not the time nor the milage was covered to warrant it.

But I insisted on changing the oil and take the coupon as the car is still in warranty. Didn’t do anything else not even washed the car.

My two cars reflected in rainwater

The JTP waiting to go for a drive in lockdown

And finally have put the Team-BHP sticker by modifying a large one
