Doesn't the mini come with Adaptive suspension, Albeit as an option? Will that not make tyres last better?

The new ones surely, but for the old one, am not sure. Even if it was available must be an option only.

New options include Adaptive Suspension, which is available for the first time on a MINI. The system constantly monitors and adjusts the car’s suspension through the use of continuous frequency-selective damping. MINI says it “redefines the brand’s hallmark go-kart feeling”.

Actually was available for extra Rs. 60,000/- even 7 years back. Not sure how useful it was though.

I think previously there used to be settings to make ride firm or soft (Sports/ Comfort mode) by damper controls.

F54 Cooper S has this option. The JCW does not as it comes with a lightweight racey suspension (v stiff). The 54 suspension is great. Even more so with adaptive damper option (₹80k iirc).

Re: BMW 330i (G20) vs Octavia vRS, Mini JCW, F30 and the venerable E90

Homage to a legend.

The most famous Mini Cooper S.

60 years ago, on 21st January 1964, this Mini won the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally with Paddy Hopkirk and co-driver Henry Liddon behind the wheel.

It was this win that made the world aware of what this car was capable of.

The rest as they say is history.

To celebrate 60 years, the car was on display at the Waterloo station yesterday:
