Congratulations! You’re getting the updated one right? Mind sharing the details of the deal you got if any? Did you opt for BRI? Can’t wait to see it on this forum!

Thanks a lot. Yes it is with the latest features including Id7 , CarPlay etc. closed it at 52.6 OTR and a free mat. The other dealer in the city was not coming down below 53. Neither has ready stock nor does BMW India. This will now be manufactured and delivered to me in Oct 1st week.

I have opted for 3rd year ex warranty and 3 years/40k BSI plus

No discount beyond this and BRI/BSI are over and above the 52.6. They have however told me all the festive offers will be applicable to me before delivery

Got the sheet from a out of state dealer, the bangalore dealer says that 6Y 120K KM is the max that is possible. (I am surprised that a sheet exists but its not possible to buy)

I was thinking buy the 10Y BSI and it will have more than the residual value when I sell the car in 5 years. (it will be a second car and will not run more than 60K in 5 years)
or buy 5Y 60K KM BSI+ it will cover my ownership.

Also is BSI+ even worth it is it better to leave the money in an investment account?
How much does service really cost?
is BSI better than BSI+?

re: My 2020 BMW 330i Sport (G20) Review. EDIT: 2 years & 27,000 km up

Picked up a DDPAI Mola N3 (1600p) dashcam almost 2 months back but did not even open the box till yesterday. DIY installed it - did not hard-wire but routed the long wire to the rear 12V socket thereby leaving the front one free.

Many thanks especially to TBHPians androdev and phani for convincing me to take this plunge!

First impressions:
1. Favourable with excellent clarity for a very reasonable outlay of 5K.
2. Setup was a breeze. Installation a cinch as well.
3. Did not opt for the rear camera nor GPS version.
4. Came with a competent twin USB charger.
5. WiFi Direct downloads are quick with my OP7T Pro

Night:

Day:

EDIT: Realized that I uploaded a compressed version which was further degraded by YouTube. The actual clarity and resolution is much better.

On another note, picked up a Bosch C7 trickle charger off Amazon for 6.2K (after discounts).

First impressions:
1. Came in a day via Amazon Prime. Not available on Flipkart.
2. Being sold at full MRP of ₹6,571 by Cloudtail + 10 days returnable.
3. Although unopened yet, am impressed by the apparent quality and heft of the device.
4. Imported in June 2020; says origin is Germany but also states made in China.

Nice! Good choice in DDPAI. I have a DDPAI dashcam (a previous model than yours) in my SX4 and that is way better than the BMW Advanced Eye 2.0 in my 320d - on all fronts.

By the way, talking about the 12V socket, did you check if the G20 has an additional 12V socket somewhere under the glovebox? In the F30 forums, most F30 owners (internationally) claim they have an additional 12V lighter socket under the glovebox, meant to be used for such accessories. Many owners found this by surprise. In my car (and most others in India), there is just a blank hole under the glovebox where the third 12V socket should have been. Wonder if G20 has this.

Thanks, Dr. AD. I checked at bimmerfest and other sites but it seems conclusive that the G20 does not have the glovebox socket. People are routing their dashcams to the fuse-box instead.

BSI or BSI+ is not worth it in my experience. The BRI for 5 or 6 years makes better sense particularly if you intend keeping the car for 5 years

Completely my pleasure . This is the charm of TBHP.

Hope we'll see your respective ownership threads soon, or at the very least post pictures and your experiences here itself.

On a lighter note …. You have been more effective than BMW Marketing team for BMW India . Thanks for your guidance, help and responsiveness.

Will definitely post pictures after taking the delivery
