Beautiful BMW! Congratulations itwasntme. Wishing you a minimum of 10 happy years with this fantastic sedan. There is something special about driving a 3-Series with a high-revving petrol - I feel its just the right size for India and, end of the day, a petrol is a petrol. No diesel can match the sheer pleasure of high-revving a silky smooth petrol. I love everything about your 330i, except the front grille :(.

Congratulations buddy. Your car looks absolutely gorgeous. I now really rue the discontinuance of the GT series. I would have loved to have a petrol GT in this new 3 avataar whenever my own car gets due for replacement.

Sorry I may have missed your usage but as a low miles user, I would say avoid the BSI and go for max warranty right up front. I like the flexibility of maintaining as per my own preference and not be a slave to the car computer which is what BSI will strictly follow. (I mean in terms of scheduling convenience and possibly over-maintaining, not to under-maintain. Incidentally, I had also taken the 5 years 60k maintenance package for my own car. It expires next month and I am at a mere 42k kms. Maybe I would have been at 45-46k but for lockdown but still does not seem worth it.

I actually do not mind the grill either subject to the chrome being eliminated. My suggestion is please consider just painting it out black. Looks stunning like that. I have done the same to my own 3 GT grill and it should not cost you more than 10k max.

If you plan to get a cycle carrier, my suggestion would be to go for roof mounted options. I am sure Thule will have the proper foot kit for the G20. The roof mounted carrier is easy to load/unload the bike, is safe for the bike and the car and also transforms the look of the car.

I have been waiting for your review for sometime.

It is sad to see the 120kmph continuous warming chime with the new cars.
Don't be too much worried about RFT. For normal puncture, you can get it fixed by any roadside puncture shop. I had a puncture recently and after driving for around 1hr within the Bangalore City, I got it fixed when I saw a good puncture shop. Since you have 17" wheels, this is a more practical setup for daily usage, less prone to sidewall crack and wheel damages and there is no need to slow down too much, unlike the 18".

I had been batting for the vRS 245 in its threads but I'll tell you what. I was wrong. However capable the vRS may be, a BMW is a BMW is a BMW!

Hey guys I am looking to buy a car for sheer driving pleasure and BMW 330i has blown my mind off. It has made pray to all the gods I know when I tried flooring the gas. I tried Jaguar xe and Audi A4, A6. The closes to Bmw was the Jag but didn’t excite much. Never got my hands on Mercedes 300d AMG. Did I miss any other car to consider? I would love to hear any recommendations and owner experiences.

Congratulations! I was thinking of a 330i when we moved back to India, but then decided to work with pre owned vehicles to get a feel of driving back home, before plonking a fortune on new vehicles.

Finally settled on a Pre Owned Superb, and a pre owned Endeavour.

One of the turn offs of the BMW sedans was the low seating, and ingress/ egress thereof. Plus, was not very comfortable of the low ground clearance over the sometimes silly speed breakers.
