I am attaching another picture of the wheel, in that you can see that centre caps on these wheels are a little different, it's a bigger piece that is actually screwed on after tightening the nuts. So I am going to see if I can figure out a way to install the BMW Center caps on these, If I can, then I might order the 50 years of M ones.
Bronze looks really nice with this paint scheme.

Hey, if you want to get rid of your 18" OEM wheels ping me.. I am in need of at least one, will take it off your hands if you want.

Thank you! I am not keen on parting with the old wheels as yet, I am skeptical about how reliable the 20s are going to be on our roads, so I am going to hold on to them for now.

re: My 2020 BMW 330i Sport (G20) Review | EDIT: 2.5 years & 26,000 km update on page 28

Have been quietly enjoying my M-Performance Exhaust (MPE) for the last many months. Really adds a buzz (sorry, no more PJs) to the executive sports sedan experience.

Quiet in Comfort mode and really explodes in Sport & Sport Plus. No irritating droning on highways either. Need to figure out exhaust tips though. I've fitted the OEM ones back, but they are not the correct fit now. In the MPE, BMW have changed the notch positioning+ rake angle of the end pipe. BMW charges 50K for the MPE exhaust tip set. Not my cup of tea!

Installed by BMW as well with full bill and factory warranty. A much safer bet than Armytrix or Dinan in my opinion.

This was on a warm start. The Sport mode comes on at ~16 seconds. Please use headphones and bump up the volume. Warning: not safe for work without headphones!

Thanks. Nothing like a good exhaust in the morning.

My neighbour has a 530i M Sport. I think I should have a chat with him and walk him through the benefits of a MPE

Thanks but be careful what you wish for.
It's very loud on a chilly BLR morning at least. Wakes up family, doggies and all the neighbours (well, the sentient ones at least).

No more sneaking out for a spin.

Now I'm even more motivated

Jokes apart, this mod makes the 2 litre BMWs really appealing to me.

Did you find any change in driving experience?

Tyres have bedded down nicely, although they still heat up more than the RFTs. I'm assuming that is a given. Love the looks of the PS4 velvet finish, makes a lot of difference.

On another note, cheap of BMW India not to offer the double beam headlights in the G20/28. Only the M340i gets the full fat treatment. All others have to make do with that silly unlit inner projector.

Need to figure out if all the hardware is there and only needs a bulb. Any ideas from other BMW owners?

The US IIHS also rated the G20 LED headlights poorly. Scroll down to the 330i base trim test: https://www.iihs.org/ratings/vehicle...020#headlights

A unverified summary from Bimmerpost:
-The US spec base LED's are very poor in low beam and high beam.
-The US spec adaptive LED's are OK in low beam and very poor in high beam.
-The US spec lasers are OK in low beam and great in high beam* (except extremely restricted and can't be manually turned on: Only above 40mph+ with no forward light detected)

-The Europe spec base LED's are very poor in low beam and high beam.
-The Europe spec adaptive LED's are OK in low and very poor in high beam.
-The Europe spec lasers are OK in low beam and have the unrestricted, full capacity laser high beams which are great.

Hi. Brilliant exhaust note 😍 My friend got a 2022 330i msport. They said this exhaust is available only for the m340i. When asked if we could order and put that, they are saying it will void the warranty. Any suggestions?

Nearly migrated to the Accidents in India thread

On another note, got my first puncture on the rear left. Cannot really blame the tyres, just look at the roads & how sharp the perp was.

Good thing was that it was screwed in tightly and lost only 6 PSI overnight. Fixed it in 5 minutes at my local guy.

Confused dealer ! While they are right in that the M340i silencer will void a 330i warranty, there is most certainly a bespoke 330i MPE. Point them towardd the part number below:

Wanted to highlight an interesting bit in the engine bay. This G20 platform also hosts the 330e, and there is a substantial empty compartment on the right hand side for the missing charging hardware.

Must remember next time coming back from a specific State

Apologies for the filthy engine bay!

I am desperately looking to upgrade/improve the headlight. Going for my first service to Navneet on Monday. Will check if there is a way to add a second bulb in the empty projector

That would be great. I'm currently like Bambi against even a Tata Ace headlight. Wonder how such lights pass ARAI homologation.

checked with Navnit folks. there is currently no BMW official way of upgrading the headlights. The empty projector is a dummy with no hardware to add a bulb. There is no option to upgrade the bulb as well!

Need to learn to live with it :(
