In bangalore iam getting Spark LS with AC, PS, Front Power windows, body colored bumpers, roof rails for Rs.4lac on road [4.05lac for metallic under GM employee discount scheme]

I am thinking about buying a spark in next month.
What do spark owners say?
You are getting a damn good price.. I paid 4.23 for my Sparky.

So being a owner. I love it and have no regrets. It just zips through traffic. Will be taking it on the highway soon and given that peak torque is at a relatively higher engine rpm am sure I wont be dissappointed...

Just checked chevyspark.in.

Looks like the prices have been updated. I asked the dealer when I took delivery which was last friday.

This would make the Spark wtih AC and PS just about 4 Lacs or lesser OTR hitting the Wagon Rs and the Santros.

Why didnt they launch this trim level earlier.. I would have got it

Hi Nimz,
Thats right. Spark is a very good car. Handles very well through traffic in bangy. I loved flat torque and power delivery which is linear. My love towards car jumped very high when i found that switching the AC on will not reduce power to an extent like in Santro/Wagon R.
Drive was only for 10min and i was not able to observe all parameters.
Whats your view about AC cooling in hot days?

Any other issues with car then plz post. It will help potential buyers to decide.

Indian car scenario - Whats the mileage you are getting in city and long drives( if any)

"Autocar has clearly mentioned that spark handles very well at high speeds and quite often tempts you to visit RED LINE"

Spark owners, add your comments if any.

Spark sales fig in Bangy

One major thing about spark. In bangy till date, i saw only two sparks. One is white colored and other Mint green. I dont know whats happening with the sale of car.

I think GM has reduced car price and now i can see its worth every penny.
Correct me if i am wrong.

@ djay99 - you can check out my review here http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...sparky-go.html

FE I have not measured..

Bangy have seen no hot days recently.. but sufficient cooling at 1.

And you hve seen only 2?? Then mine makes it 3. I ahve seen a red spark and another metallic spark like mine.

There must be quite a few as I have seen 4-5 being taken delivery in Garuda one evening and also in Sundaram around 3-4 being fitted out for delivery another evening.

Hi Nimz,
From where did u buy? Sundaram or Garuda in Bangy
Yesterday sales agent from Sundaram motors told me "i will get 4K additional discount under corporate scheme"
Now onroad for Spark LS come to 423000-17000-4000 = 4.02lacs

Did u get any freebies or discounts?
Also what was waiting time for delivery?

You wrote abt Autocop in ur review. Dealer told it costs 4.5K. Any other advantage then central loking/remote locking?

DJ

Hi EatMyDust.
My cousin is working in GM and under GM employee referral scheme, i am getting some discount on ex show room price.
So total discount in cash would be 17K for me. Also dealer is giving cash discount of 4K under corporate scheme.
Soif u know any1 in GM then talk to him/her immediately.
Im getting over 30K on AVeo UVA, over 60K on Aveo and over 1 lac on optra petrol.
Since the discount is on ex showroom cost, also road tax and insurance premium is reduced.
