Been using it for 4 months now. No issues as such except that the connected car tracking is a hit or a miss. Sometimes it misses complete trips or restarts a trip after the auto off function at a red light. Have shared this feedback with the Jeep team and they have said it's a known issue and they are working on a software fix for this.

In terms of mileage, it totally depends on the traffic. On early morning runs without any traffic I have gotten as high as 16 and in start stop traffic it goes down to 7 or lower. Overall average would be around 10.

Congratulations Sharan for a wonderful product. What a wonderfully detailed review! I recently visited FCA dealership in Srinagar for a regular checkup for my Linea. There were lots of Compass on display. The facelift has surely increased the desirability quotient to a much higher level.

This is the same news my sales executive was also mentioning. However i doubt if this is true. This is usually a sales tactic to make customer book the car early..

Jeep India would be crazy to increase the prices in Dec!

Prices have been revised. Heard that the ex showroom price for mode S 4x4 has been increased by 50k.

Dealer told me another revision is expected in February. Not sure how true is that.

There is setting which allows the gear to be seen on display. Please see below Screenshots. Screen Setup -> Gear Display -> Current Gear -> On.

I can see gears showing up like D1, D2 etc. on the upper left top of the same window when vehicle is on move.

That's a bummer ! I am wondering why would they even do that.

You may want to check with the dealer/sale agent with the info in hand that it was there in 2020 model ( Mine is "Jeep Compass Longitude plus Petrol AT" to be exact). That would confirm if it is indeed so.

Can you please check above the fuel indicator. It shows the hear indicator above that. Mine is 2021 model ( limited ).

My bad. Just checked. It shows up only when using manual autostick. Not when it’s in D. When using autostick, the display is on top of fuel indicator

hi Jeepers, I took delivery of my Compass Limited 1.4 DCT Monday this week. Overall my sales experience was excellent from the day I took test drive. The SA was very cooperative and for most steps he visited my home and did the paper work. PDI too was uneventful ( SA was even ready to pick me up from home to their stockyard ). As reported by many, they didn't have 3d mats available and agreed to reimburse ( I took premium mats from them )

Post delivery , I got rattling within first 70 kms. However it's not audible inside. Uploaded the videos in below link:

Since it's not audible inside, I decided not to try my luck by attempting servicing it ( based on all the reviews, most of the cases service center is unable to fix it ).

Is the rattling noise audible when car is idle/stationary? Were the rattles present during delivery time?
