Congratulations Avi! That was an awesome writeup of an equally brilliant car.

The car impressed me when I TD'd it and for good reason. Mahindra has established that it can produce international standard cars right here in our country and not charge a gold mine for it.

Also, Thanks for posting the in-depth review of the AdrenoX system - I wasn't aware it had so many cool features.

I'm sure this car will see the length and breadth of our country and Wish you many happy miles with your Red Sabertooth! Hope to see her in person real soon.

re: Reincarnating Orange Cheetah | TheRedSparkle Mahindra XUV700 AX7L AWD | 55,000 km

Congratulations on the new car! Wishing you lakhs of safe and memorable kilometres.

Thank you especially for the detailed walk-through of the ICE which I was interested in knowing more about.

Just one question for you, are the DRLs a warm shade like they appear in your photos instead of a cooler temperature like in most other cars? Or is it just the white balance in that particular photo?

re: Reincarnating Orange Cheetah | TheRedSparkle Mahindra XUV700 AX7L AWD | 55,000 km

Hearty Congratulations, Avinash

The way your car and you have evolved is endearing. You both have aged very gracefully, I must say.

Wish you many many miles of adventure and happiness with sabretooth. I will be following this thread very closely for all the updates along your journey.

Do let us know if you are opting for Ceramic coating or PPF, maybe? And also all the accessories you might be installing.

Regarding the cabin being inadequately lit, I did come across a post in the Original XUV 700 thread where an owner installed the 64-colour ambient lighting and boy did the interior look fantastic. I am attaching the video link here. You might want to look it up.

Yet to read the whole thread but here is what I will say at the outset : you have not only lost weight, you lost a few numbers from your age too. You most definitely look younger than you looked in the before photo.
Congratulations on the transformation and the car.

Congratulations Avi

Lovely review; and I eagerly await more from you on the driving impressions, especially the highway bits and the long-drives.

I am sure it will not take you long at all to rack up the miles in this new and improved avatar of your old beast!

Cheers and good luck

re: Reincarnating Orange Cheetah | TheRedSparkle Mahindra XUV700 AX7L AWD | 55,000 km

Brilliant car and a brilliant name. Suits so well. Its funny how something named sabertooth is a much more mature and modern as compared to something that was named cheetah

Look forward to hearing more from you on your impressions and the miles you crunch as the ownership matures.
Threads like yours are gospel to many new owners or fence sitters.

re: Reincarnating Orange Cheetah | TheRedSparkle Mahindra XUV700 AX7L AWD | 55,000 km

Congrats Avi...

Whenever I see a Orange Xuv5OO on the road, the first thing that comes to mind is you. Especially considering all that Himalayan drive experience we had. And while in bangalore, whenever I used to see an Orange cheetah, always used to check if it was you . Will surely miss this beast in our future drives.

Anyway now am sure, whenever I see a red Xuv 7OO, its again you who will first come to mind. And I will surely check if its you again who is driving.

All the best bro. Have some wonderful miles ahead with the Sabertooth like how you had with the Cheetah.

Super awesome ownership review Avi! The amount of details you've managed to pen down in such a short span is incredible. People like me who are owning a Mahindra for the first time and the ones planning to own one will benefit a lot from this thread. Wishing you happy miles with the new ride.
