This brings back memories of my Honda-City-1.5 which I owned from 1999 to 2007. I was much younger then and had a blast with it!

Congratulations Dodo on your first car. Being a petrolhead's son, you got a worthy car as your first ride. This one despite being so old still retains that timeless elegant design and has the power to punch a lot of modern cars to shame. Since you have Debdeep da and your father to guide regarding mechanicsls, I don't think you need much guidance from the forum regarding what to do and what not to. I'll just say this much, go as per Debdeep da's advice and you are good to go. He knows his vehicles inside out. And enjoy the car to the maximum possible.

Fantastic job cleaning the car mate - trust me you will love it!

I used to own a 98 1.3L City before I left India and i stored the car for 2 years because I just could not sell it.

Regular maintenance and it will serve you for years more. Those engines love a good rev BTW..
