Thanked: 3 Times

Took a test drive today with some colleagues and here are my impressions:

Things that I liked:

Smooth power delivery from low rpms - pulls nicely all the way to high rpms

Torque is evenly spread out across the rpm range - though the max torque is specified at 4800 rpm, there seems to be enough torque at lower rpms also.

Amazingly small turning radius for a car of this size

Fit and finish of the power window switches, OVRM switch, etc., are very good

Great visibility through the rear window (this is something I missed in the SX4)

Great legroom

Things that I did not like:

More noise entered the cabin than what I expected to hear from reading other reports on the NHC - this could be because the test drive car had 30k on the odometer

Slightly bumpy ride in the back seat

Did not seem as solidly built as some other cars in the segment (eg. the doors did not seem as solid as the Aveo) - this might be a psychological perception

A/C was not very effective at the back

Thanks,
Amit.
