Hexa is one beautiful MUV. I almost bought the Hexa based variant 14.5 on road, when I went to test drive the Nexon. Crysta , Hycross nothing comes close to it in terms of looks. If only they had kept it running in BS6! But I guess the 2.2 tons kerb weight was too much of steel and the platform too old to upgrade. In comparison Harrier top end is 1700kgs. Safari may be 1800kgs? The additional 400kgs explain the 14 kmpl mileage, My Harrier easily gives 16-17 on highway.

Do you remember how much the mounts costed and the labour charges included?

Yes, It costs around 7000 at the Tata authorised service center, including labour and mounts. Labour is around 5000 since it involves a lot of work, and the mounts costed roughly 2000.

Congrats for you efforts to keep old runners in good shape. This scrapyard scavenging tricks will be helpful for me for my 16 year old Getz.
