yeah i knew it was a Jetta 1.8T..just with 30 hp less :(. But i heard the Jetta 1.8T is a preety nice car...well the later generations at least..after they fixed the coil pack problems.

Jetta had the 150 horse motor until 2001. They bumped it to 180 in '02 and 200 next year.

Coil pack problems were in the 2002 model year. A friend had the problem in his A4. Could'nt get parts for days..........sorry I keep ranting.

the exhaust tip is just an extra fitting...i have it on my 1.9tdi too ...cost arnd 3000 i think

to fit it...they'll cut ur silencer(the two pipes) and weld this one over there..u'll aslo have to cut the bumper, otherwise can't fix it

noticed that when u bend and look inside the pipe u can see 2 exhausts inside. by the way kartik u have a L&K octi right because i think u have a sunroof ?

RS have sun roofs too. the HU is a alpine 9830. what i also like is the windshiled washer is hidden. i tell my friends skoda ommited them(washers) to save money. The things people will believe!

The RS has embedded Windshield washers. this is interesting. is this a new feature??

i said HIDDEN. i dont know if it is a new feature. my RS was got in october.

I think you mean headlamp washers - these are mandtory in Europe for xenons

All octavias have the windshield washers hidden...they are not in the usual place we are accustomed to - the bonnet. They are placed somewhere just below the windshield. And give a very good mist sort of spray. I think this was there from day one itself because i've seen this on old octys as well.

Yeah thats a VW thing....ive seen it before on some other german and other european cars as well. I think the headlight washers are a good thing as well. Im hoping i can pick up a red RS later this summer

Well Jesal, mine is just a Octy Rider. The sunroof, alloys everytin are just extra fittings. The only thing missing is the Xenon's.

Dude, the car comes with Xenon lamps. That speaks for itself. Once you got Xenons there is no other lighting you would need for the headlights. fog lamps would not be of much use unless its a yellow lens fog lamp which has better visibility under foggy conditions.
