Just got my new Swift VDI delivered in three weeks !!

Hey Everybody,

I am a new proud owner of SwiftVDI. I got it from Delhi within 3 weeks. And the very next day I was on NH1 highway. Man, this car just blows you. Its just awesome. You just push the accelerator and Hit it !! The torque is felt so easily and it just zooms past all big sedans and all.

I really loved dribving it. Within 1st 3 days I covered 700+ kms. I calculated the mileage and it came out to be 19.046 km/litre. It should get better with first service lined up on 1k kms.

I would keep you guys posted. I just love the forum and my new baby

Anmol.

Congrats man. The VDI is indeed a gem.

These days we're hearing of people getting deliveries very quick - my cousin got his LXi in a week! Seems the swift production has really ramped up. Or getz has dented it

Nah... the production is still slow. Petrol delivery is fast. But VDI is still at 3 months waiting in Delhi. No dealer promised me before that. Had to apply some "sifarish" and get it rolling. We had even faxed Jagdish Khattar about the car. Got it on a special delivery van from Manesar. Love driving it

Thats an awesome figure for a FE on a brand new car, I cannot Imagine what it will be like after the 1st & 2nd service - 22 + !!!

And yes, the Swift is available here in Agra also in about 2 weeks or so. Finally MUL is ready with the proper supply against demand. I am waiting to see if MUL puts up any discounts soon on this baby !!

Hi everyone,

The FE is completely with AC, Delhi is sure hot till date
I drove the car from Delhi-Noida, then next day Noida-Delhi-Chandigarh with full AC constant at Level 1 and it was cool inside the whole time.

It is a sure pleasure diving this baby. I got a Silky Silver VDI. Thanks guys for wonderful replies.

Do tell me any tips and tricks for Swift so that I can get the best out of it.

Regards
Anmol

Hi everyone,

I have fitted the JBL0937 Oval speakers with Sony Mp3Drive-S model in my Swift and I just love the sound of JBL. I have tried Sony and Pioneer earlier but JBL rocks. I would look out for some cool autographix for sides of swift.

I got the car for 5.50 on road including everything. I got a 2500/- discount and a 20% off on accessories which I got fitted.

I am loving the car. I am planning for a long trip now... Noida-Delhi-Jaipur and then back Jaipur-Chandigarh. I would love to hear your inputs for a long drive, how to go about it in a better way and enjoy the driving pleasure of swift.

Btw- Bangalore car delivery scene is changing and it should now get delieved in 6 weeks time.

Regards
Anmol

Congrats man....It sure really rocks.

Delivery in B'lore: Yeah, you are right. We will get the vehicles delivered within 2 months now a days. I feel MUL is dead feared of Getz CRDI which has a more powerful engine and better space.

What other topups you have done to this vehicle.

Want to buy this but when I laid my hands on Rocam powerplant, then I decided to go for a Rocam than this........ and I have no regrets.

Hi guys,

completed 1000+ on my swift last week and took my baby for 1st service @ MotorCraft in Noida. Had great reviews and comments about them. so I thought why not give a try...
