***??? I go to hyundai site, Hyundai Motor India, click on the i10 site and am taken to http://hyundai.co.in/hyundai10.co.in/ which does not exist!!! and HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA - Hyundai i10 is taking ages to load - and no option to skip the flash!!!
If they cannot design a simple web site properly, how can they design a good car???

Hi TBHPs,

This is my first post in this portal. I was a silent reader of all hatchback reviews. After the big analysis, now I am also going for i10 (in Jan'08)

Congrats to Achopraa and others who are in the queue to get it soon.

I am looking for overall FE, back seat space comparing santro and performance. I hope the performance should be more than Santro as its power and torque are bit more.

Santro - 1086cc, 63 bhp, 9.8 torque
i10 - 1086cc, 66.7 bhp, 10.1 torque

I also hope i10's back seat comfortable may also be bit more as the width of the car is 70mm more than Santro.

Hey, congratulations on your new i10! I had a look at one the other day while I was waiting at the Mulund octroi naka, and I must say the interiors were a revelation for a small, inexpensive hatch. Maybe Hyundai will slowly improve their entire range's interiors this way! God knows it's been their weak area thus far!

Is it just me or does anyone else see the Pug in the i10?! Talk about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, looks like Hyundai's doing the rounds; Jag, Honda, Peugeot...hey maybe they'll go after Maserati / Lamborghini next!

FE of i10 is definitely going to be around 2kmpl more than Santro and this is one of the main changes that has been done to the engine. Rest we all know it depends upon N number of factors...

Rear space is very good....with three people sitting in the back no one seemed to be fighting for space and also legroom was better that Santro.
Afterall they have reduced the back boot space and increased the legroom.

The automatic version of i10 has not yet been launched but will come soon. The i10 era and not magna is going to come in the automatic version.

Last but not the least
@ashutoshb/kbk_75/toiingg/vijayk/jerish/beanstalk_230 - Thanks for the wishes.

Hyundai i10 Era Vs WAGONR LXi

Dear all i10 aspirants & owners,

Like you all even i am very much impressed by i10. I waited for this car since last 6 months.

I have compared i10 Era with WAGONR LXi. Regarding the same as you all would have done car research, i would like to ask one question is that VALUE FOR MONEY on buying ERA Vs WAGONR LXi.

Although ERA looks great with excellent Interiors, is it really worth 60-70k more than WAGONR LXi? Please advice.

Regards
Ravi
