@ravi - In City conditions in initial period pre-500 Kms, I am getting average of around 14.5 kmpl.

I will soon take it on highway and give you the figures for that.

After reading the reviews, i was disappointed by one fact about the people writing the reviews.
The information given by them regarding the various variants is not accurate.
For eg. they have written that in ERA model, the rear parcel tray is part of bundle which in reality is not so.
Hence in a hurry to post their reviews at certain places they have provided misleading information too.

Congrats achopraa. Lucky you. Getting a more spacious and refined car at the price of Santro. Such a choice was not available to buyers two years ago.

Guys,

Does the i10's beige dashboard reflect against the windshield in bright sunlight?

I have an Aveo which has a strip of beige right against the windshield and I find it quite irritating in sunlight or when passing under trees. The i10 seems to have a much bigger beige area!

confused

,
Hi people pleasse help me..
After all the research, I previously planned to buy Santro, but after the launch of i10 am really confused.
Planning to book either i10(ERA) or santro(Euro III XL) in next one week(which had been waiting since long time). This would be my first car, for family purpose(5 people)
Problem is that, feeling not comfortable(i mean don't wan't to take any chance or risk) of i10 bcz it's completly new and very less reviews and any drawbacks in i10 would be fixed in it's next release, but can't wait so long, in case of santro, had seen reviews about the decrease in quality of the interiors and other features.

And my budget would be max of 4 to 4.5Lacs.

So please people help me in buying the right car.
And am not intrested in buying any car other than either santro or i10.

Regards,
Vineet

Dont think such a problem will arise. Engine is the old tried and tested 1.1. So, that wont cause of trouble also.

I feel you'll regret later if you pick up Santro over the i10 now.

Vineeth,

Just go ahead and get the i10. The longer you wait the more confused you will get. And by the time you actually decide to get the i10 there will be another later model, say i20 in the maket and you will find yourself in the same position.

Cheers,
Rajan

I think its with any dashboard. I feel the same when using my Zen which has black dashboard. [or is it only me :( ] I was about to ask a solution to fellow TBHPians. Thanks for raising it...
