I think the Tata strategy and product have delivered spot on to destroy competition, they launched a super VFM product ahead of M&M launch and now they are way ahead of the pack for M&M to even think of catching up. Watch the safari sales now...!

Anyways I was a Scorpio fan in 2004 I guess that is when we got one in the family, now it is more of a family TAXI. No one any longer mentions the Scorpio and after the 2.2 VTT HULK became a family member I think we have forgotten we have a scorpio. Anyways back to the topic...

CheerS!

actually strike hybrid Scorpio. To make the wait longer, make that a hydrogen-powered, zero emission Scorpio!

Thanks docup for that quick TD report. Being a fan of Scorpio, it was a complete let down for me too. Now the Safari EX makes more sense & if TATA can offer atleast ABS as optional, then nothing like it.

Highly disappointing. I was eagerly awaiting the 2.2 Scorp launch. It seems like a big anti-climax.
Nonetheless, I do plan to take a TD. I am curious to see whether they have improved the ride & handling at all. And yes, I was expecting a 140 BHP engine

I dont think we have an mHawk in cochin yet for a TD, so I'm going to have to TD the endeavour, tuscon, pajero, and the safari2.2 tomorrow. everything is lined up. tomorrow is going to be a very busy day.will post a new thread if anyone is interested

anyway,I'm not even planning to TD the mhawk. seems to be outclassed already.

I would suggest dont give it a pass like this, TD it along with the others, your feedback is valuable to the forum.

All that extra money for +5 horsepower, and some bells & whistles which anyways wont be that reliable (Mahindra electricals...ask me). Much better off putting your money on the regular CRDe instead. The fact that its a proven engine only tilts the scale in its favour.

Just saw 3 M-hawks at Vijayai auto sales on Bannerghatta Road. So any of Bangalore guys interested for TD could call them as I guess vehicles have come in good numbers.
