Finally Got my Esteem Yesterday :-)

Hi Guys,

After long research in TBhP and search. i got my esteem on Sunday Dec 9th.

The Esteem is a 2002 VX and its an limited edition esteem

On ODO it was 45,600 Kms , It was in showroom condition with a small dent on rear which was fixed pakka

The Esteem was fully Loaded with Alloy wheels and spoiler

Total money paid was 2.5L

ICE: Got a company fitted brand new Headunit of Scorpio from my friend who gave as he changed it for a DVD player.











Clocked 110 Kms in one day

Congrats on the purchase.
Can you mention the price also, if you dont mind?

Even after all these years, Esteem remains a favourite with enthusiasts. Speaks loads about the car (Specially the engine!)

Good Buy, Get her serviced, Replace the Plugs with new ones and Air Filter change, Oil filter change and Throttle cleaning must. Flush the Engine Oil and replace with Magnatec or Synthetic if you like.

Check condition of Coolant, Brake Oil- Replace or Top Up if needed.

Check the Belts and AC system thoroughly.

Get the Wheels checked, Balanced & Alignment if needed, Ofcourse don't forget Underbody Torqueing.

Check the Alternator Voltage and Battery Condition both With Full Load & Without Load.

Car Wash & Greasing Door Locks+ Hinges

This would ensure a truly ready car and trouble free drives ahead.

I have already given the car to my Trusted Mechanic, who also has been my school mate. cheers:
