In first service, they hardly do anything so I don't expect sigificant change in the mileage,,( correct me if I am wrong).
Only thing I see that, all the moving and rotating parts becomes smooth( overall reduction of friction) hence there may be slight increase in mileage.

I'll try to check everytime I refill the fuel until third service to have more accurate estimate.

I did'nt do silicon coating for engine layout.
But did underbody antirust coating for Rs 3250.

cheers

whopper! thats too much. I paid 1250Rs.

In this case 2000Rs more !!!..

Probably coz I am doing it in Advaith showroom.
Too much of time constraint this year.

I do not think you are cheated. I was also charged 3250 by Trident. It is done by outside agency and the charge remains the same for a model.

Congratz!! Nice car keep updating the post.

And what you paid is the correct amount, this what all the dealer workshops would charge for the anti-rust job.

More data points on fuel efficency.

I have 5 more times after 1st service and planning stop doing that.

Here are the number,

14.3, 14.8, 13.9, 14.2 and 14.

For Bangalore city condition, 90% AC on, 195 wider tyres and my driving method, Auto cut off measuring method,,,,,, Getz CRDi gives around

14 (+/- 1) KMPL .

I had chance to drive Bellary to meet Nephew who is in a boarding school.
I have checked thrice during entire trip. Highway mileage are like this,

19.8,18.6 and 20.1 KMPL.

I was busy in office and not in India for 3 weeks, was wandering in Shanghai on a business trip so could'n login to Team BHP.

Great to see Palio Stile MultiJet launched. Can't wait put of foot on its pedal..

Cheers

I am planning to buy a diesel hatchback after couple of months and as of now Getz Crdi is best when it comes to sheer power.

Also heard that hyundai is planning to come with ABS with EBD on Getz crdi.

Since Getz has disc in front wheels, so ABS will work only on front wheels. What about EBD? Does it work on all the wheels?
Since ABS with EBD costs atleast 20K, i want to know whether EBD works on all wheels or not.
Any other hatches (diesel) coming in next 3 months in price range of upto 6lacs?

I am not happy with Fiat-Tata service. overall Fiat 1.3 MJD is a good car but i would pick a Swift VDI rather than a Fiat.

I just enquired in HMP chennai.
what they told, the engine bay has no space to adopt the ABS kit.
So defn GetZ D won't come with ABS IMO.
I am also one of the GetZ D fan Awaiting for ABS version.
But no hope at all.
