Really sad man. When i reached Advaith motors, the guy told me no TD vehicle available (Getz crdi) and told me to drive a verna and feel the power.
Also he told me waiting period is 4 months where as trident said 1 month.
Is it possible to get a TD by writing an email to Hyundai?

I had requested for a TD using hyundai's website and still the dealers response was the same -- No diesel for a TD. The salesmen from Advaith offered me a drive at their stockyard in a customer's car instead if I came over to their showroom!

My sincere advise to all prospective buyers is to buy any car at any price only after test drive specially if its not your first car. Reason being that if your second car is not better in comparison to your first car you feel like banging your head, even if it your second car is of lower spec at better price point.

I have purchased a Santro automatic without a test drive, while everything else is good enough( as per the price), the seat , I feel is really bad and lacks any support. my current car is Verna and though I expected drop in power and performance but not such a poor seat. Ironically, power and pick up are good enough and the seat is simply a pain - you know where!

Finally got a TD of Getz Crdi at advaith stockyard. The car was registered and was belonging to some customer.
I drove in the stock yard which is full of speead breakers. Only for few seconds i was able to cross 1800RPM for turbo to activate that too in 1st gear.

Some of my observations:
I felt steering was heavy even though it was a PS.
I drive a chevy spark and felt Getz Clutch is hard - obviously its a diesel.
Gear shift of Getz is better than spark even though its a diesel car.
Steering is borrowed from Santro.
Interiors are nice and beige looks cool.
Wooden finish on central console looks cheap.
I felt Verna's cabin is silent than a getz.
Rear defogger is not available now. Instead they are offering a rear spoiler.
They said no cash discounts, no freebies except floor mats and mud flaps.

I am planning to book the car in a couple of months. Waiting for some other hatches to be launched.

Drop the idea of buying a Getz Crdi. If the company is so disinclined/disinterested in promoting its car that it doesnt make TD vehicles available, it doesnt deserve any customers in the first place.

Thats good news that clutch is easy.
I saw 3 Getz Crdi's and none of them had defogger lines. I am sure about this.

May be i didnt check it properly as defogger is not much of a use in my area. The clutch is the same for most of the cars and also the gearbox , usually they become better after the first service . I experienced the same in my ikon flair.

@Anju,

Do you have defogger in your car?

Now hyundai is offering spoiler instead of a defogger.

I have Defogger provided Hyundai and Spolier provided by deal with showroom.
Its a good move to provide spolier instead of defogger. But flipside, getting spolier fitted is easy that getting defogger(which hardly used by most).

I am surprised by your comment on steering and clutch which is hard.
My Steering is feather light and clutch smooth aswell.

Cheers
