Where is the incentive to service the vehicle at the Authorized Dealer? The problem in this case is not the vehicle, but the dealer. In the case of my Alfa, it was the vehicle and not the dealer - the dealer tried his best to help me out, but even the owner of the dealership personally couldnt get spares in time from Italy.
Surprising Tayer doesnt match up to Gargash, however Gargash has been around forever! But in the end its the mallus who help you always. When in trouble head to a mallu cafe order unda partha and cry your sorrows, someone will find you a way!

damn i wonder how i missed this thread, congrats, though a lil late on the jag

I have driven an s type several times in the us and loved it's roar from the twin tail pipes and the power delivery is just amazing

how is the car in terms of maintainance now ?

I just had a 'Tata' experience at Jaguar - they're giving me a FREE retrofit!!

FREE! Never thought the day would come but I'm getting a new throttle body retrofit from Jaguar

Never asked for it, never had trouble with the one in the car but they offered to do this for my car when I took it in for timing chain inspection yesterday.

Apparently the free replacement is worth about Dhs.6,000/-. Damn, I'm impressed!

TATA happily replaces parts in their vehicles. This is what Steer's on about.
