Congratulations on your new car!!! She looks divine. Am sure you'll have many enjoyable memories with this baby.

Judging from your enthusiasm, she is in excellent hands.

Gear locks for i10....I am still unable to find "made for i10" gear locks [:(]

Some1 asked for the price difference between Era and Magna and about its worth.

The difference between ERA and MAGNA is around 25K and MAGNA and MAGNA O (without sun roof) is another 76K.
The extras being offered for extra amount being charged are worth each penny( I am feeling this after owning ERA)

You can check out the features here - HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA - Hyundai i10

Chopra,

I have driven only 300 kms so far with my i10.I am pretty sure that i am getting a mileage hovering around 14-15 with a/c in moderate traffic conditions.Suspension is pretty hard and does ride over the potholes very well. And regarding the Hand Brake issues, i have had no problems at all.My only grouse is that First Gear is not getting engaged smoothly. But this is not always.

When i asked the dealer about the Hand Brake issue,he confirmed me that there was some problems in the initial batch (07 make) of i 10's and not in 08 models,Mine is a 08 model.

Hi Chopra,

I did go through the features list. I am still wondering if Rs. 28K difference between Era and Magna is justified. I've booked Magna yesterday. But having after-thoughts now and wondering if Era will do.

By the way, there's now a corporate discount of Rs. 2000 on i10 effective 3rd April.
