Sajjan - U've had the car for over 2 years now. An update on this would be very helpful for folks like who would like to know more on the Spark.

This is surprising and Shocking!

Are you sure that your car does not have a ODOMETER?

If yes, you have to sue the company!!
Even a moped comes with a Odometer!

I remember even kids used to put odometers on their bicycles as long as 25 years back!!

If this is true, guys, I may have to rethink if I do go in for a Spark!

hehe!! KA18,
They must have meant tachometer
Every car has a odometer. Tachometer shows the rpm and odometer shows the distance.

Infact the earlier Sparks did not have a tachometer. All the new ones have a digital tachometer.

Congrats on the new buy. Spark is indeed a good car to drive. I agree with you on the gear shifting. Even after 8K Kms under the belt, gear shifting isnt as smooth. Its a great highway car too and you can do speeds upto 140KMPH with ease. Mileage that you have mentioned is pretty much what you can get out of the car. But WHERE ARE THE SNAPS????

Err...,Lightening-Fast pal, sorry to dampen your enthusiasm, but if you observe carefully, you'll find that he brought the car more than 2 years back.
Maybe 'new' is not the word for the car as of now!

2 year (one month) old SPARK

Thanks all for reviving this 2 year old thread. I will soon post a long term review on my SPARK.

In these 2 years, I went ahead to by myself another SPARK, a LPG version, which is now a year old.

Will post details, ownership views and pics of both tthe cars over the weekend.
