seran,

Congrats on the buy. The Logan is a real VFM buy!

Did not know that all the variants had the immobilizer. That is a very smart move by M&M!

VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number - a unique number that is used to identify your vehicle.

And please do post the photos when time permits.

Dear MANIK NANDA,

I am told by the Service Station Guy that the vihicle ignition should be switched off before refuleing to have the right fuel level indication. Is tit so? In case this is true, what happens if one forgets and refules with the ignition in on position? How to correct the wrong fuel level indication?

Our Logan DLX 1.5 has just crossed 700 Kms. Awaiting to touch 1000 Kms to give a feedback about FE.

@Seran, VIN = Vehicle Identification Number. It's a unique number that identifies your car & relevant details incl manufacturer etc.

Check that sticker on the windows / quarter glass - the VIN number will listed, with a bar-code version alongside.

Thanks. I was having a budget of about 6. That made me short list City-Exi, Logan, Indigo Marina (Boot Space - A family vehicle) and SX4. I was heavily in favoutr of a Diesel vehicle as now a days maintenance cost of a diesel and petrol vehicle does not vary much if you go a good make.

I test drove each one of them.

I was throughly impressed by the Space, Steering grip, Smooth Gear shift and reasonably low engine noise offered by Logan.

Even though the others were also good, the room inside offered by Logan was un compromisable. One has to travel in all with four in the rear seat to realise that. I did! Especially SX4 rear mid row seat looked more or less like a camel's back to me. My legs were to spread like a Vee and had a bump pushing me from the rear.

Once my thoughts hovered around logan, I started going through the reviews posted by people in site like, Mouth Shut, Carwale, Team BHP etc. I was impressed by the milage and engine reliability openions they had.

Went for logan and Iam happy as of today.
