That is; Many a times, our rides are souped up and becomes attracted to crowds and cops. So, when someone needs to trace it, an internet connection is all what is needed. So, why keep it easy. They'll look for other ways, but this practise is just to make it a bit difficult.
Yes you are correct.
But my view point is that this way we can atleast know if someone riding in the next car is a fellow bhpian.

I have seen quite a few people sporting T-Bhp stickers on their vehicles...
I will do the same once i get my ride.

Thats sad dude. You didn't get it welded? The screw-on ones are just a hard pull to take off i guess.

Yikes! that's sick really. But in a way, I am happy it was just the muffler tip which you can replace easily. Sick guys...

Don't think the Maruthi dealerships weld the tip as it is just a bolt-on. Welding it also makes the tip/muffler vulnerable against rusting especially in a costal city like Cochin.

Well I gues the opposite might happen. Many Palio owners will continue to be palio owners for a really looooong time

Serves you right for getting such cheap accessories & not getting her a proper SS exhaust system!

Yep, all it takes is a hard pull :(

Will replace it tomorrow anyway. Don't want to weld it for the same reasons as Quicksilver pointed out.

The back looks kinda bare without the SS tip. It is also essential to make the addition of an FFE/Remus End-can easier later on (not much change will be seen, heh heh). Dunno how I'll explain the exhaust note away, though.

Ishan Singh Tyrewallah, your days are numbered. Wait'll I get my hands on you!

@rippergeo, aravindwarrier just pointed out the main reason I haven't put it up. I don't want to be a bearer of bad tidings.

See, a muffler tip already gone!
How long can you stay away from buying us Pizzas?

Btw, have you bought the new muffler tip? If not, don't until you talk to me.

hey hydra, not fair...you left the palio bandwagon .
congrats on the new swift..I love the alloys..absolutely delicious.
Hows the ride quality on 16" compared to your palio with 15" rims?

And get ready for a huge $$$bill when it comes to damping the swift. (you traitor)

Hi Hydra,

Congrats on your new car

I'll surely miss your Palio!

P.S: Will you be STILL sticking tape around the CD Player Face-plate when you give your car for service, after changing over to your new ICE?

Just saw this. Congrats on the new Swift! This is one car that looks great in most colours, from most angles. A pity about the build quality - but I have a feeling the Japanese tincans are a little more fussy about smooth roads.
