May be I was unlucky to have engine troubles though I did the preventive maintenance part Ok.
The Huge discounts offered in XL - Do they indicate that it is yet to penetrate the market segment?

Indica will not serve my purpose, as I need more space, otherwise I could have gone for Swift diesel any day

XL is not sold in large numbers, Dhingra Motors in Gurgaon sold only 5 XL in April.

I have mentioned about the Indigo XL in some other threads. It is a highly underrated car. I would personally be interested for the 1.4 Petrol which belts out 100 bhp along with a host of goodies normally not found even in cars much higher than its segment. And yes, the space available inside the car is to die for !!

The maroon/black one/pearl white one looks great. Just add beige leathers!

Then IMO the XL will prove to be a very good buy for you. Do keep us posted about your plans.

Petrol Versions have avery poor resale value. So many of us do not consider them for purchase fearing a very low sale rate when planning the next car.

Petrol is not a preferred model in Indigo because low FE and poor resale value. Features wise its fully loaded. But the still interiors are not that charming and eye catching.

Somebody said Swift DDIS is better than DICOR engine, now way guys.

Having Driven the DDIS and the Indigo Dicor, i felt the Indigo fared much better that the Swift DDIS.

Swift has better aerodynamics thats all.

Indigo Dicor will be a much better car if given choices between the Swift DZire.

Havent checked on the CS, looks awsome to me by looks point of view.

With the launch of Indigo CS Dicor, i think tatas have a winner already.

Need to TD this ASAP.

I recently heard that XL Grand has been discontinued and an XL Standard has been introduced.

The information is still not up on website. Can anyone confirm?

IF yes, what features are lacking in xl standard? any changes in XL classic?

Also does the xl have a footrest?
