I would say they would last at least 45,000 kms on good roads. My Accent has done 35,000 kms and they have not worn out even half !!

Stock Bridgestones ( With Tube )

I agree with vkochar. My stock tyres (165/80/R13, Bridgestones, tubetype) are at 23500kms currently and they look as good as new. They would easily go till 40-45 K kms.

Thanks Guys for your responses.

Mclaren, I know it is tad expensive but I paid extra for the peace of mind due to the car being in good condition.

Spadival, exactly my point, I dont expect any expenditure upto 50 k mark

The GIII Potenzas are tubeless what I got with the car

BTW I got 14 Kmpl in city driving with 100%AC and changes at 1500-1700 RPM and 12.5 on highway with 100% AC even at railway crossings where I had to wait for some time and a mix of city traffic on highways(typical UP traffic), Average RPM 2700-3000. I am happy!!!

You sure about your highway mileage ? Hope that 12.5 wasn't a typo.

Yeah sure about that. But the highway drive included heavy traffic, stopping at railway crossings, stop-go and speeds ranging from 30-120kmph. therefore 12.5 Kmpl. BTW these are standard highway condition in UP. God help this State.

Exactly what I also thought - but as Madmax111 says, the driving conditions explain the figure.

@madmax111, I was really surprised to see the city figure of 14kmpl with a/c, especially because your profile mentions 'Bangy' as location. There is no way a Baleno is giving 14kmpl in Bangy city driving (or even Chennai). But then I saw that your driving was in Delhi, which explains the better FE due to wider roads, better traffic conditions etc.

I agree Supremebaleno. In Bangy you are not driving, just idling. But I would still like to idle in Bangalore(NOT Benagaloorroo) than drive in Delhi.

Recently shifted to Delhi but keep visiting Bangy often. In fact I am in love with this city.

Must change my location on the forum ASAP to avoid further confusion.

BTW how do you put the quote in a box while replying??

Just click on the "Quote" button and it will do it for you.
eg. to quote this reply of mine, just click on the "Quote" button at the bottom of the box containing my reply.

In Post#21 of this thread, you tried to quote rjstyles69, and even got the ending TAG right. But you missed the opening TAG, which should have been [quote=rjstyles69]

That's a very good Mileage you are getting. 12.5 would be a typo I'd think so !!!

Not sure about a 3M detailing place in NCR. I used to take my cars to a place in DLF Galleria in Gurgaon ( Nice chap he was ), he used to do everything for me. Try him. Noida I would not know many places ( others can help you )
