Congrates, bhagathmp. The CAR is looking stunning.
A question to BHPIANS in delhi, Pumps has stopped selling notmal diesel. The service manual says to fill Normal diesel in the BEAR. Does this means TATA will changes things to take care of this or it does not matter what you fill.

One thing I have noticed is is Smokes with premium diesel.

As per the advice given here on TBHP, i've been filling only normal diesel for my truck. surprising to know they stop selling normal diesel!!!

This weekend saw me go to TASS for the 1st 1-1.5 K service. I had a few issues that were to be looked into.
1) Squeaking noise from both front doors - fixed. Applied grease
2) Sound of a bell (kind of “tiring” noise) under the hood on the RHS.- No loose nuts found. But issue has not surfaced.
3) Tar spatter on the LRHS. Front and back. - Not a though clean.

Over all I’m happy with the service. I do not feel much of a difference while driving but glad the noises have disappeared.

Door Visor.

I’ve put up the door visor and not got any rain to test the effectiveness of this. Hopefully the monsoon will hit us real soon. I’ve noticed one thing though. The wind noise that was noticeable at anything above 80-90 kmphr has totally vanished. I’m not sure if it’s something to do with the Visor or not, but the noise that’s reported by many TBHPiens and that I’ve experienced myself is completely gone. if someone here could confirm if they have also experienced anything like this it would probably be the solution for the long pending and frustrating issue.

Regards

Hi,
sorry this took a while but here are the pics with door visor. as you can see it was not specifically taken to showcase the visors themselves, however hope you get an idea about this.

I think the car looks soo much better without the visors, infact anycar looks better without the visors, but this is just my view, for some reason, I just don't like them, and feel they spoil the look of the car.

@ musicman as you rightly said its a personal choice. i somehow feel the visors give the Truck a macho look. cheers:
