The remote is of pioneer and works only with Pioneer HU. I also have a normal remote control which came with the head unit.
I paid Rs. 1100 for the steering wheel remote control.
I have no idea about sony steering wheel remote control.

I have clocked 6000KM and done many many mileage checks.

For Bangalore city traffic condition with 90% AC on, I got around 13(+/-) 1 km.
the best I got was 15.1(only once) and the worst I got was 12.1. otherwise most reading were between 13.2-14.5 kmpl.

On highway where I chekced thrice, it was around 18 kmpl, I remember taking three reading and the highest it read was 20.2 I think. Need to get more of highways now .

Note that, I have changing the tyres to 195 wide.

cheers
Anju

Anju,
Thats a good average.

I am getting a strange sound like burrr when i change from 4 to 5th even at 75KMPH.
Are you getting the same sound?

I get the sound when i shift from 3 to 4 at 50(or less than 50) and 4th to 5th at 75(or less than 75).

I am not hearing any such Burr sound...as your feeling

But when you don't shift from 5th to 4th gear say below 55 kmph, you can feel car struggling to push the car & make some gueeee sound which is typically dull/fading sound not a loud one.....

Hi Guys,

The 2 threads on Getz has almost made me finalize on Getz Diesel. Thanks to djay, vabs, anju

I'm in Faridabad. Can guys close to here refer a reliable Hyundai dealer and what sort of deal can I expect. Heard of many horror stories of customers cars being used as TD cars.

I'll be booking it by the end of next week. Please help me get the best deal.

Thanks
Naman

Measured FE yesterday.
It took in 32L of diesel and I had travelled 420 kms at the time. That makes the FE 13.125 kmpl. This is with 100% AC and 100% city driving. Not bad I say.

HMP Mathura road is the good one. But even they cannot provide a TD. So you'll have to buy GetzD on faith!
