@Farhan
You seem to be spending too much on that Blaupunkt HU. You can get a decent Pioneer one for 6k-7k. If the dealership is selling you this Blaupunkt, stay away from them.

Get a pioneer HU and spend the saved money on a nice set of speakers or an amp. An amp will really make your speakers rock.
I would suggest GT607c components in the front and GT937 coaxials at the back.
You should be able to get the above setup within 15K.
By the way, I have still not got my system fitted, too confused. The budget i had in mind earlier, has almost doubled now lol, if everything goes as of plan my car should be ICEd this coming weekend.

Lastly, you are not allowed to use more than two smileys per post, now just hope that the mods dont catch you.

Here are my two smileys for you

Cheers

Jaspreet

First of all Congrats to both of you for this amazing possession. My love for the palio has increased day by day.

Yes, Farhan is right, Dealer would give you 10 litres diesel (5 would be there in the car and a 5 litre coupon which can be redeemed in the IOC pump next to Concorde). Also, I got the number plates fixed by the time of delivery itself. Get it done from Dealer, the handling charges contains all that.

I also did not get the Lumar Sun blocker films, may be its due to the increase in price, dealer might have given it free.

Farhan, Zaks, please keep the post updated about the ICE you are going for. Even I need to go for one.

Congrats Zak and Farhan great choice!!!!

Farhan you seem to have your audio sorted that is cool i went to JC road and those cowboys ruined my car!!! (including passenger sun visor they broke and replaced and a radio antenna they could not install) plus the guys could not fit the tweeters in the space provided now it just looks ugly.

The owner of the shop said that Palio and Fiesta were "difficult" to do i have no idea what to make of it.

my personal experience is first 500Km the car shudders and thuds below 2K rpm gears/clutch are slightly hard (i stalled the car more times than i can remember) but after that it is a dream...feels more like a hatch back scorpio (ok i am exaggerating a little but only a little ) Gears smoothness/ accuracy improvement is something i am still amazed by. My first service is still pending though.

Great choice both of you, i made it too

Zaks: Congrats for you car mate! Palio is quiet a looker in Black.
If you are planning to change the tyres after a couple of months, you will get even less buyback price for your used tyres. Its best to use them for their whole life or replace them as soon as you can while they are new.

Take a look at this thread running in your car:

Palio in Black looks stunning to say the least. I happened to drive behind a red one this morning and even that looked out of this world.

Stile looks much better than the older model and the fit and finish seems fantastic. The only thing i don't like is the dual colored steering wheel and the gear knob "looks" notchy. I prefer short stubby ones.

Farhan,

Its surely a head turner, get some dark tints now.

And whatever you do, dont get the Blaupunkt for 14k.

Nice Pics Farhan, when are you getting the Sun-blockers. Just told Sandeep about the good feedback present in the post as he doesn't have a net access. He has helped me also in getting the delivery quickly and his service was commendable.

Car looks excellent in BLACK! Nice photos too. The new FIAT logo has real class. The only fly in the ointment is the dashboard!!

4 different colors! and the instrument cluster looks so 90's.Not even a digital trip meter, sad.
The car is crying out for alloys and wider rubber.
