@ Abhinav : Just call the skoda people and enquire. As the model is the last piece, may be you may get something additional with 2 yrs warranty. Best wishes

I will ask him to give me extended warranty. Just hope he can give it.
My 20000km in this car would be like 3 year atleast.
So , mods are no problems

AFAIK, Skoda does not offer an extended warranty, so I can't see how this is possible. Is the dealer talking about 2 years coverage from the date of delivery?

BTW congratulations on buying one of the last examples of a truly iconic car of this period.

guys i guess this is one of a kind SUNDAY for team-bhp. If assuming that abhinav has taken delivery of his vehicle than i'm glad to say that it is a day when two bhpians have acquired skoda octavia vRS and that too red color. The second one being yours truly

will create a new thread soon which would have my own version of long and unique story. Will add pics too. Till than let me live up the dream!

UPDATE
Dad contacted two banks regarding the loan.
The dumb people at Kotak Mahindra did not understand that we said no to them and sent their people for confirmation and all

Well it will be sorted as of today (07-07-2008)
So i expect delivery in a day or two. So waiting fot the car . Always keep on watching its picture on my wallpaper. ( Mobile/Laptop/Computer)

Its purely brilliant
Just amazing. Drove for a short distance though ( just 5 kms )

Will drive for a longer time tomorrow.
In love with the car
and ya without asking, the pics will come up by tomorrow.
