Ashish,

Congratulations.

From your write up I felt that you neglected the Honda to get the vRS. Just kidding.

Would like to tell you 2 things.

1) Treat your baby well and she will take care of you.

2) Before you start ripping, please drive the car for a considerable period and get to know the capabilities.

Have fun buddy.

She looks lovely. Drive safe and lets have some more pictures please.

I was getting addicted to all of this as i started to drive more and more of OHC and i realized what i was missing. I realized that my days of driving a santro was an illusion. Driving a car like an OHC teaches you what a drivers car is and i guess it needs no explanation so i'll cut this discussion here.
Congrats on your purchase. Enjoy your car within limits.

The two paragraphs above which I have quoted is 100% true. We think our cars are the best even without driving the other cars.

Thanks a lot normally crazy. Your posts and thread were one of the biggest reason for making me fall in love with vRS. I used to read your long term ownership report for vRS several times.

Thanks dippy. Thats the irony of life you get some and loose some. But when you get something which you always wanted, life suddenly take a u-turn towards bliss...and thats what i'm feeling right now!

Ashish, one of the best acquiring report on this forum, really enjoyed reading it. And, i think it can be made into a bollywood movie ( Yash Chopra ishtyle!).

As your still a student, that stage is one of the most addictive if you become well knowledgeable of cars. Congrats on your new acquisition.

Btw, my dream car too is a Skoda vRS ( Yellow color though) and since the petrol prices have increased i shifted my dream car to a Skoda Laura in white color ( hopefully should buy it in a couple of years).

Enjoy and drive safe!

Ashish, tell the service people to connect your skoda to the VAG and activate the Anti Hijack Feature,
It is the feature where in all the doors of your car gets locked at 20kmph.

And PM me the cost at which you purchased it.
What mileage did you get?

abhinav i think that feature is already activated because the doors get automatically locked once i achieve speed

Congrats !!!

Congratulations Ashish on your having bought your dream car. It seems to be a well maintained car. It has an after market exhaust end can though.

I am taking the liberty of giving you some "uncalled for advice" but I am giving it anyway

I am sure you are aware that "with power comes responsibility"

So get used to the feel of the car before you start ripping, as the RS is a fast & powerful car. It's road behaviour is very very different than the Honda City you have been used to thus far.

Once you get used to it - go right ahead & have a ball !!!

Cheers

Congrats ashish! That's one heck of a car, and a (yet to be fulfilled) dream for many of us Enjoy yourself, but drive safe.

I noticed one thing - your vRS has a round exhuast tip. I thought the stock tip is hexagonal. Was this car modified?

Thats good ashish.
Yea its a FFE or just the exhaust tip?

Dude
be careful with the car, because only I know how i am controlling my speed.
Firstly get yourself well aquitted with the behaviour of the car before ripping it.
