Can you please let me know why you sold off your Magnum (I read it in one of the posts). I test drove a Magnum today and was overwhelmed by the experience. Your explaination will help me in deciding whether I should buy a Magnum or a civic.

That last pic with all the lights on really makes it look amazing. A black, khatru looking alloy set and some blue strobes in the underbelly and your car will look real dhin-chak

Ohe... where are the switched-on taillight pics maanik?

I drove a Magnum y/day and was floored by it; wondering why pay more for a Civic (just show?) when an LT can offer you a better punch and its a diesel. The Magnum's torque is just too addictive, it tempts you to floor the pedal whenever you see an open strech... and it just zooms!

Guys, sorry for the late reply.

@ TOR - Thanks buddy. What info do you need about the lights?

@ Salilpawar1 - Thanks Salil bhai. There are 10 BOM-CCU flights everyday.

@ Ethanhunt123 - Thanks mate.

@ ShuvC - Thanks! What about you turbo plans??

@ XetaGLG - Thanks dada! ICE pics will take some time. ICE is still w-i-p.

@ Dinu2506 - Thanks sir. The Civic and the Octy can't be compared IMHO. Both have totally different characters. The 300 odd kms had a 200kms highway drive. City FE would be less.

@ Navpreet318 - Congrats on your Civic. Will PM you in a bit.

@ Csentil - Thanks sir. One thing bad about the Civic is the sheer numbers on the roads!!

@ Karim Bhai - Thank you. The sparkling diamonds are the side/parking lights. They come with the whole setup.

@ AirWind - Thanks. Yes, I sold off the Magnum. Miss the 31kgm.

@ Zoom_vroom - Thanks. As I said, these two cars are VERY different. Will post a comparo later. Bit busy these days.

@ Babhishek - Thanks.

@ Suman da - Thank you. Actually, its my dad's new toy. My toy/weapon is the Silver Bullet!!

@ Vchounal - Sir, selling the Magnum was not an easy decision. Lets just say I loved the 2.0 engine. Somehow, the Magnum didn't feel right. It never could lay down all that power properly. Maybe my driving was at fault.

@ Jayabusa - Thanks!

@ Zappo - Khatru alloys okay. But, strobes?? Nah!

The angel eyes cost 17k officially. I haven't paid for those yet. Will bargain it down!! These don't come with the HIDs. You need to buy the bulbs separately. The parking bulbs are fitted though.

For smoking the t/ls, a spray can was used. Don't remember the brand.

@ All Calcutta members who want more pics: Please get off your lazy backsides and come and see the car in person.

@ At all members asking for more pics: Pics are Planet_Rocker's department. That lazy guy can't be found anywhere!

Did a FE check (tank full method). 8.043 kmpl. Hmmmm.
The car bottomed out twice while entering our basement parking.

@ Vchounal - You're welcome. Magnum is an amazing car and will keep you happy!

@ ST7677 - Thank you sir.

i wish the civic did come with a sunroof. and the reasons i would not buy a magnum at 10 laks plus are, it does not look 10 laks, horrid resale. no sunroof in diesel. front looks weird i liked the 2005 much better. but im scared they might launch a new civic in 2009 with sunroof not sure though
