Civic Joins the Team

Got the Civic last Friday!
Dad had his eyes on the Civic for a long time. Last year, we had booked it but, the deal fell through. Had some problems with the dealer.
This time around, there were no mistakes and we finally entered the Honda club.
Other options were the new Accord and the Laura Elegance.
Both of these would have put a significant strain on the finances. Accord is 18.04 OTR and the Laura 15.70. Civic was the next best option.
So, decided on the Tafetta White V M/T.
Dealer: Pinnacle Honda
Dealership: This is by far the best dealership I've ever visited (across all brands). The staff was very helpful and the sales guy actually knew about the car. Paperwork was completed in two days. Went and had a small TD of the car before registration.
Got a call last Thursday around 4:00 saying that the car was ready for delivery. Went there and checked all the paperwork. Then inspected the entire car meticulously for any defects/paint mis-match/leaks etc. Everything was Perfect! ODO read 12 Kms.
Reached the showroom at 9:30 sharp on Friday. Completed the the formalities and had a long chat with the service manager. Took a drive around the premises and and everything was just perfect.
Left the showroom and tanked up with IOC regular unleaded. 44lits. And, drove straight to the installer for ICE

Some other goodies: Angel Eyes with 6000k HIDs in low beams.
Smoked tail lamps
Llumar Diamond tints (don't remember the shade)

The car has Michelin MXV8s.
Am thinking of getting 16"ers. Tires are easily available. 205/55/16 Yoko S.Drives. But, alloys options very limited

. I want black alloys.

Congratulations ShuvD! Out of curiosity, are any of the Cal dealers offering discounts on the Accord (Yes, yes I know that it is new and there is a good chance that pigs may fly before this happens - more so in the North); but if I recall correctly, Cal dealers were pretty generous with discounts. I remember that when we got our OHC is 2002 from Windsor Honda, we got a substantial sum knocked off the price and this was on the newly launched limited model at the time.

P.S. Did you go to Windsor and if so how was the dealer experience?

Congratulations !! Have a blast with the car.

However, I am curious as to your intentions of changing the ICE. I thought the Civic had an in-dash built-in really good ICE in place and it cannot be replaced ??
